Re: Microsoft Edge support please
When you run Edge as is it can change things eg Favorites, History, settings etc. If ran via Sandboxie then when you delete the contents of the sandbox these changes are avoided. That's my primary usage of Sandboxie.

Re: Flash Player in FF 48 64bit - Workaround to try
Using Internet Explorer?blackhat wrote:It worked for me...
I'm aware this workaround is for Firefox, but I was pointed here from a different topic as a general fix for Flash Player not working after Anniv. Update. and it doesn't work in Internet Explorer unless I'm doing something wrong.

W10 Anniversary Updtae crashes flash player -PART 2
You locked the original topic so I couldn't reply. Just to let you know your workaround is NOT WORKING for me with IE in a sandbox with odd number of letters.

Re: Microsoft Edge support please
OK, slightly disappointing on the timescale, but thanks for the info. I do understand your resource problems and appreciate your efforts and your needs to prioritize your Enterprise customers. But 2017 is quite a long way off, by which time I might have got used to Edge's "In Private" mode instead. ...

Re: Microsoft Edge support please
Hi, OK thanks....but I think the idea of an ETA is that you ESTIMATE when it might be ready. I wont hold you to it but it has been 7 months since I started this topic, when you were supposedly working on it, so I would have thought by now you would at least have a rough estimate of how long it will ...

Re: W10 Anniversary Updtae crashes flash player
Edge is not supported in SBIE. At this time, as flash is waning in ALL browsers, please use HTML5 sites. This is often not possible if a site doesn't have a HTML5 version and many of them don't yet. I'm finding since my Win10 Anniversary Update that lots of sites I visit don't work in my sandboxed ...

Re: Cannot delete contents
But surely the idea of the sandbox is that it is something running without the ability to affect the rest of your system. So shouldn't those (or any) 3rd party programs be prevented from accessing the sandboxed folders, (except in a read only way perhaps)? Else all hell could break loose if a clever...

Re: Cannot delete contents
But the whole point of running a program in the sandbox is so you can delete the files when finished. If "something else" can lock the files so they cant be deleted, whats the point? I consider it a bug even if you don't.

Was this in response to my post?Craig@Invincea wrote:A fix has been found. It should be released in a new beta very shortly.
If not then... is there a response to my post? I spent ages editing all the quote, unquotes!

thanks.

Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.08 RC)
I'm still getting the following in 5.08: SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service RpcSs (-1) SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service RpcSs (-1) Hope you can solve this, its annoying. Thanks. This is a rare issue. That has been almost completely addressed in the current RC (and through out many beta'...
