Re: 4.13 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.13.5)

Sorry Curt, but there is a problem with Flash and Firefox using Sandboxie 4.13.5, reverting back to Sandboxie 4.13.4 fixes it. I also tried it in a VM with default settings, and just like on my Host PC, Flash is causing Firefox to freeze, and looking in Taskmgr the Flash process comes and goes. Vers...

Re: 4.13 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.13.1)

Hi, the problem I reported about theming still exists with v4.13.1 beta. Problem also shows up on Windows 8, not just Windows 8.1. Heya, I just tried v4.10 RC, and there seems to be a theming issue on the "Run Sandboxed" dialog. This is on Windows 8.1 with Update 1 (x64). Here are two screenshots, o...

Re: 4.09 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.10 Release Candida

@Curt Oh, OK, but Windows doesn't update them, as I checked this before posting, and to be fair I never said you should copy them to the install folder. When I said the files shouldn't be in System32, I meant not just copied there, and should be installed with the VC++ redist installers, as I'm awar...

Re: 4.09 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.10 Release Candida

I've noticed the installer copies a few Visual C++ 2010 SP1 dlls to System32 if you don't already have them installed, but they're pre https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2565063 versions. I'm no programmer, but from what I've read you're not supposed to just copy system files like that, as it can caus...

@bo.elam

Yeah, it's a Windows 8 thing, other apps in the past have had theming issues (nothing to do with Sandboxie), Some still do, like Google Music Manager.

Heya, I just tried v4.10 RC, and there seems to be a theming issue on the "Run Sandboxed" dialog.

This is on Windows 8.1 with Update 1 (x64).

Here are two screenshots, one with, and one without the issue.

@bo.elam

Sorry I should have said I'd tried 4.05.06, thanks though.

@tzuk

No problem, I'll just use Chromes PDF save feature.

It's strange that novapdf doesn't work, though dopdf does, which is just the free version from the same people.

novaPDF lite doesn't print.

Heya, printing using novaPDF lite doesn't work using Sandoxie 4.02 or beta 4.03.02. I have tested it on both Windows 7 SP1 32bit (VM) and Windows 8 64bit with Windows Defender enabled, with Firefox 22, and Chrome 27.0.1453.116. You can get the software at http://www.novapdf.com/download.html Resourc...

Oh well, I 'll just use C:\Users\%USER%\Sandbox\%SANDBOX% as that worked, I can't see why it would work for you, yet on many installs for me it won't, but not much can be done if it can't be reproduced. I did make sure I was saving it with the Unicode encoding btw.

Thanks for looking into it though.

Heya, I tried setting FileRootPath to use %AppData% and %Personal% (not at the same time of course) instead of %UserProfile% but they don't work either, so I tried both the reg and ovr method, and the messages still appear. Tried rebooting after changes too. I should point out I've had this problem ...

Sanboxie.ini Problems

Heya, I'm having a couple of problems when setting up my Sandboxie.ini First is when setting FileRootPath=%UserProfile%\Sandbox\%SANDBOX% on Windows 8 x64. I get 3 messages from Sandbox at logon, problem happens with both 3.76 and 4.01.08, though it works fine on Windows 7 x64 with both. The message...
