Re: Sandboxed Windows Explorer
I never saw that choice on installation of Sandboxie, and never chose it. On other instalations of 8.1 Windows Explorer was always on the start menu. On the ones with it sandboxed it is not. A search for Windows Explorer w/Sandboxie only shows-Run Windows Explorer sandboxed. It's not a big problem w...

Re: Clicked Links getting out of Sandboxie
[ Now to move on with your default browser issue. If you haven't already, try nicks suggestion to see what windows thinks your default browser is. If it's not set to this other browser change it there. If windows shows your other browser as default already try running this other browser outside of t...

Re: Clicked Links getting out of Sandboxie
Yes IE is not the default the "other browser " is. When the sandboxie 's "Sandboxed Web Browser" the "other browser starts as it is the default. IE does not start. Have you checked your program extension associations for the two browsers? For Windows 8.*: go to Control Panel\Programs\Default Progra...

Re: Clicked Links getting out of Sandboxie
You say that the "other browser" is the default browser. Does Sandboxie's Desktop "Sandboxed Web Browser" run that browser when the shortcut is double-clicked? Yes IE is not the default the "other browser " is. When the sandboxie 's "Sandboxed Web Browser" the "other browser starts as it is the def...

I have a problem with Windows 8.1 (64bit) In that I cannot get IE to stop opening a link that is clicked in another browser. The other browser is defaut. Not a Sandboxie problem. What I can't figure out, which is a sandboxie problem, is that when the default browser is opened it is sandboxed, IE isn...

Re: (Not Solved) How to add programs permanently
The added program disappears after shutdown of sandboxed prodram no Ccleaner involved.
You poested possible solution in the Problems forum.
Only reason I postedin both was that I wasn't getting any answers here.

Re: Add program to sandbox
Can I selectively delete contents? If there was a problem.[/quote] Sure, you can. Whenever you want to delete contents on that sandbox, all you have to do is go back to Sandbox settings>Delete>Delete invocation, Itck setting "Automatically delete contents of sandbox". Re: Add program to sandbox
Caver, if you set her up with the sandboxed shortcut, all will work as she wants with just one click.

Sowhat you are saying is make shortcut that ties into two sandboxes. Am I correct in this assumption?

Re: Add program to sandbox
I think you could install the keylogger in a separate sandbox. Save the sandbox and whenever she needs to use that program along Firefox, she can run Firefox in that particular sandbox. She can right click the Firefox icon and choose Run sandboxed or create a sandboxed shortcut for Firefox to run in...
