Re: Config for router-USB networked printer?
Thanks so much for your reply, Barb. I tried printing in notepad sandboxed and it worked. Then tried Firefox in SBIE and THAT worked... finally went to my default browser that wouldn't print before, which is the newest Waterfox... and this time for some reason, it printed! Must have been a glitch be...

Re: Config for router-USB networked printer?
No one? Is anyone out there using a printer connected to the USB port of their router? It's a common configuration these days and I'm sure SBIE can do it with a little tweak... ?

Config for router-USB networked printer? [SOLVED]
SBIE v5.22 64-bit / W7 Ultimate 64 In the past I used a Bluetooth dongle on my laptop to print to a Canon MX850. SBIE would throw up a popup I could click on to allow a print job to pass to the printer. Recently I got a new router with USB port so now the printer is plugged into the router so I can ...

Re: Add-on "Empty Cache Button" not working when boxed
Thanks for your reply. No AV. The add-on also does this in FF v56.0.1 (same as the Waterfox version I am using), when boxed only. Will have to revisit this later ... having to deal with router problems at the mo' that will occupy the next couple weeks. Will come back when I can. (It's a small thing ...

Add-on "Empty Cache Button" not working when boxed
Sandboxie 5.22, Waterfox 64-bit v56.0.1 (latest), on W764. The Empty Cache Button is a simple add-on that does what it says. Click it and it empties your cache. When it is successful a notice pops up. It works fine when the browser is not sandboxed, but fails when running in SBIE. No notice pops up ...

Re: SBIE doesn't save new login usern/pwd info
FTR (for other future readers) thanks Craig for the template but I didn't really understand how that worked or what Cyberfox is. I just fixed it by clicking on Help in FF -> Troubleshooting -> click the "Show Profile Folder" button so I could see the path... copied the path into SBIE Settings -> Res...

Re: SBIE doesn't save new login usern/pwd info
Perhaps FF is now using the credentials vault: http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=20194&p=106030 According to Mozilla, "Your passwords are stored in the key3.db and logins.json files..." [inside the profile folder]. So I guess I'll try adding those files for direct access and s...

Re: SBIE doesn't save new login usern/pwd info
Any changes need to be made OUTSIDE of a sandbox.[...] You can give SBIE access to your cookies & bookmarks (SBIE Control> applications>web browser > firefox) I'm sure you're too busy to read a long'ish post or you'd seen I'd already given SBIE direct access to FF passwords, which is why I am makin...

SBIE doesn't save new login usern/pwd info
FF running in SBIE does not successfully save new login info when created. I get a FF popup asking if I want to save the login info, I click YES, but it doesn't save it past the current session. Have to open FF unboxed, go to the site, login, save the creds.. then when I open FF in SBIE the creds ha...

Re: Config to run Program OUTSIDE Sandboxie?
Does anyone know out of curiosity however, when the recovery window pops up and when it just recovers files on its own without asking? Play with this setting. Sandbox setting>Recovery>Immediate recovery. If you tick it, you get a prompt immediately after downloading a file is finished. No ticking, ...

Re: Config to run Program OUTSIDE Sandboxie?
What if you prevent Adobe Digital Editions start by blocking it's executables? http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?RestrictionsSettings#startrun Thing is, when you check a book out from OpenLibrary, Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) needs to be invoked (opened) to download the book to your computer. Config to run Program OUTSIDE Sandboxie?
Hello. Using FF 37x in SBIE and when getting books from Open Library that open in Adobe Digital Editions, SBIE auto-opens ADE inside SBIE and my library books are not saved (or even recovered correctly) so that they don't stick in ADE, and I can't 'check them out again' OR return them, so have to wa...
