I'm going to assume this is spam or some devious ploy ..
If it's not you should have a brief look over the sandboxie menus.. It's pretty straight forward to configure; why take the risk of allowing some random person on the internet access to setup security software on your PC?

Re: Does sandboxie protects from process reading
TWo things. 1. That font color makes the post almost impossible to read. Thanks for the heads up, colour looked fine on my screen but I've edited it anyway. 2. One big disadvantage over using that DLL instead of Appguard. Instead of 2 programs running as designed and therefore supportable, you have...

Re: Does sandboxie protects from process reading
You may want to try the sandboxie extra DLL by Wraithdu: http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=4885 The effects of using this DLL on sandboxed processes are as follows: - block system-wide enumeration of running processes and threads (includes Toolhelp32 and PSAPI functions) - bloc...

Re: Install Sandboxie for single user on PC with multiple us
Not sure if there's a way to do it via the installer but you may be able to do something like: • Set sandboxie service startup type to "manual" • Remove sandboxie control application from each users startup (HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run) • Add a script/batchfile/run entry/etc t...

Re: Delete All Sandboxes Contents at once - Right Click Menu
Just a further thought on this for anyone else thinking of doing it. I've found quite often I'll get a sandboxie error message complaining it can't delete a file, on investigation the file is always deleted anyway. Due to the messages it's best to suppress errors using delete_sandbox_silent: Example...

Re: What Is Your Multi-Sandbox "Theme"?
I tend to sandbox like bo.elam. Currently: SBDefaultBox - Default SBAlcatraz - Very limited file system access, no internet, drop rights, sbiextra dll etc SBFirefox - Limited file system access, only firefox can run, firefox forced SBIExplorer - Limited file system access, only IE can run, IE forced...

SteamWebHelper Sandbox
In case its of use to anyone else, I recently began sandboxing steamwebhelper.exe (the only unsandboxed browser left on my system at the time) while avoiding the headache of a full steam sandbox. The benefit I guess is that you can download and run games without extra rules being needed, but the web...

Re: Is the license bound to the hardware?
Hey,
I believe you can license the new install yes. See Curts comment at the bottom of the following thread:

Re: How to start and stop appropriate sandboxie processes?
Easiest way is probably the following: Closing sandboxie • Terminate all sandboxed apps and delete contents of all sandboxes • Right click sandboxie in the system tray and click exit • In task manager click the services tab and look for Sbiesvc (sandboxie service) • Right click and stop the service ...

Re: The new "2015" licensing terms
If you have the 'old' (unlimited) lifetime license like you posted then having many activations is not a crime. I just hope they will not block key if number of activations exceed any number :P Unfortunately I don't have an old license type, just a 1yr subscription currently. Thinking about it, if ...

Re: Delete All Sandboxes Contents at once - Right Click Menu
Hi Mr.X, I just stumbled across this: http://www.sandboxie.com/?StartCommandLine It seems sandboxie has commandline options to stop programs and delete contents of sandboxes. With the commandline arguments you can easily create a batchfile to do what you want. For example If I wanted to create a bat...

Re: Attribute error SBIE messages to a specific sandbox
Not much help but whenever I see the "Canceling process" message it usually follows the cause.. Example:

Re: The new "2015" licensing terms
Hope you don't mind me adding my question in your thread Bellzemos: I'm tempted by the 3x lifetime license bundle as I run VM's which could benefit from the protection and ease of testing software sandboxie brings. As the VM's are often wiped and may appear to have different hardware from time to ti...
