Re: Problem with Opera 12 + Firefox 42
Normally, we would have you disable any and all extensions and run your browser just testing the Core functions. Usually, that's how we test. We do test some add-ons, Very few. As Addons and extensions are almost 100% the cause of any browser issue. But it appears that the workaround would be (as y...

Running SuperTuxKart sandboxed? (videogame)
Hi,
Can you guys perhaps check if y'all can run SuperTuxKart sandboxed? I can install it, but I get an error on start up.
http://supertuxkart.sourceforge.net/
Thanks,
Rasheed

Re: Sandboxie vs Invincea Endpoint
Interesting thought but I'd have to say not only is it unlikely but also I'm not very fond of the idea of adding it to Sandboxie directly. Sandboxie can already be fairly complex for the average user, adding something like that would only make it that much more difficult to troubleshoot programs ru...

Re: Problem with Opera 12 + Firefox 42
We would certainly need more info... basics... Antivirus (baseline questions.) Any FF and or Opera add ons and extensions? I don't believe other tools are responsible, but the tools that I use are Sandboxie Pro, EXE Radar Pro and SpyShelter Firewall. See screenshots for the FF and Opera extensions....

Re: Problem with Opera 12 + Firefox 42
This problem was not present in SBIE v4, so there's definitely something wrong with SBIE v5 Well, 4x isn't supported directly any longer. We've moved ahead with substantial code changes, tweaks & Windows fixes to work with Windows (and the Oct 2015 update for which v4 hasn't been patched for) thus ...

Re: How to make Direct Folders work inside sandbox?
Think I got it, finally. It wasn't sandboxie blocking anything after all, the program just needed the original window names! Give this a shot. [Template_DirectFolders] Tmpl.Title=Direct Folders Tmpl.Class=Misc Tmpl.Scan=s Tmpl.ScanFile=%APPDATA%\Direct Folders OpenWinClass=$:df.exe OpenWinClass=# T...

Re: Remove dotted lines (Focus Rectangle)
Here is another example, how it's NOT supposed to be, dotted lines should be never visible.

Re: Problem with Opera 12 + Firefox 42
What about in separate sb? Thats what I would do. Rasheed, isolation/sandboxing works better when we separate programs from each other. By separating Opera from Firefox, not only you ll eliminate the (apparent) conflict you are experiencing but you ll achieve better isolation, you ll get more out o...

Re: Optimization for Vivaldi?
I will post some of the errors when I encounter them, but it's SBIE that is giving these error messages. Hi Rasheed, nice seeing you here. When I tested Vivaldi a few weeks ago, I installed it in a sandbox, I got no errors and all went well during the hour I kept the sandboxed installation. I think...

Re: Problem with Opera 12 + Firefox 42
BTW, I would appreciate it if this problem can be fixed as quickly as possible, because I had to downgrade to SBIE v4 because of this.

Sandboxie vs Invincea Endpoint
Hi, I just wondered what Invincea developers and SBIE users think about integrating a behavior blocker into SBIE? I don't really need it, because you can combine SBIE with HIPS and anti-exploit, but it's still interesting that Invincea Endpoint is designed not only to contain, but also to block and ...

Re: Remove dotted lines (Focus Rectangle)
Usually, these tweaks don't work correctly or at all within SBIE. Especially when something needs to write/change a "registry" setting in the sandbox. Additionally, anything to do directly in regards to SBIE GUI is a very very low priority. It really hasn't changed since 2004. People have gotten us...

Re: How to make Direct Folders work inside sandbox?
Yes I know, but often you can make them work with some extra configuration.Craig@Invincea wrote:Usually, these sort of programs don't play well inside of a SB.

Re: Optimization for Vivaldi?
Hi, First of all, thanks for fixing my account problem with logging in. But yes, it does work, but Chrome feels a bit smoother, and I know Invincea often makes sure that everything is running fine with Chrome, so I guess I'm asking to at least do some more testing with Vivaldi, to see if SBIE...

How to make Direct Folders work inside sandbox?
Hi, Does anyone now how to do this, how do I need to configure SBIE? To give some more info, it's a tool to enhance file-boxes, you can for example auto-size them, and sort folders on type or date. I want to make Direct Folders work for sandboxed apps. http://www.codesector.com/directfolders Thanks,...
