Re: Flash
Sandboxie is stronger than Flash's protected mode. You only have to be careful if you use other applications outside of Sandboxie which can run embedded flash content as well.

Re: chrome and sbie
Chrome's sandbox is for its own protection(exploit), correct?!... If the attack is let's say thru an email attachment(or downloaded thru chrome), could chrome sandbox handle that?! Downloads and e-mail attachments are not handled by Chrome's sandbox. If you are unsure about files you download and o...

Re: chrome and sbie
Gator, I trust Sandboxie and Invincea while I don't trust Chrome. This is about whether the Chromium sandbox benefits from Sandboxie and if there is actual proof of that and not about your personal trust issues. Just because you trust something more doesn't make it more secure. Guess what, I trust ...

Here is an example of how Sandboxie tampers with Chromium's own policies. Re: chrome and sbie
There is no useful information in that linked thread. The link to the CVE's there regarding Chrome does not mean that these are sandbox escapes. These could all be remote code execution vulnerabilities which are contained by Chrome's own sandbox. But since it's a vulnerability, there is a CVE for it...

Re: Sandboxie & Google Chrome

Re: Problems CYBERFOX browser with flash player on YouTube
If the OP is using Cyberfox 64bit or fork, disabling protected mode won't do anything because it is only enabled for 32bit applications.

Re: 7 Zip Shell Context Menu
If 7-Zip is installed inside a sandbox, you won't get the shell context menu because for that to happen registry changes outside the sandbox have to be made.

Re: Error when running Chrome
Do you have set your sandbox container folder - usually C:\Sandbox - in AppGuard under Guarded Apps \ Folders with read / write? AppGuard considers this location as system space by default and denies any guarded application writing to it. If your container folder is indeed C:\Sandbox, this adjustmen...

Re: 4.09 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.09.5)
I am getting an error with 4.09.05 when I click on Program Groups in any sandbox's settings. Happens in new sandboxes as well.
