Re: New forums with https support!
Trying to access the site via the old http does not lead to an error message for me. Instead the connection just times out, saying that the server took too long to respond. An automatic redirect to https would be useful here.

Re: File and Folders View - remove empty folders from tree
Hm, it certainly is an actual thing. Usually programs (nvidia for example) or Windows itself creates some default folders (likely to check if some files exist) and then don't delete them if they're empty. The result is a bunch of empty folders, just sitting there with nothing in them.

Re: Prevent application from restarting computer
This seems ...inconsistent with my own experiences. What exactly counts as "valid reboot command" and why is it permitted?

Re: Prevent application from restarting computer
I would also prefer to have a per-sandbox option for this, disabled by default. There is very little legitimate reason for a sandboxed application to restart the host system, as said.

Usually, yes. In this case it didn't, deeming itself too important to wait.

Prevent application from restarting computer
Can this already be done? I basically don't want any application inside of a sandbox to automatically restart the computer without explicit consent by any means.

Re: What is the difference between version 4.2 and version 3
If that's all you do with it then there's little reason for you to upgrade.

Re: GOG Galaxy Alpha Client 100% cpu - keeps spawning proces
I have indeed installed it into the sandbox, with little interest in moving it outside. >_>
(I'm trying to keep my computer clean and sorted.)
Lemme check those logs...
...yeah, they mirror what RooJ has. Lots of access denied (5) errors looped.

Psst, the changelog link in that announcement is broken. >_>Curt@invincea wrote:4.20 is officially released.
(Same as the download links in the first post of this thread, actually. They go to a 404.)

Hm... I don't think you can install services inside of a sandbox.

Re: Blue screen
I did have this issue before as well. For me it was related to Outpost Firewall Pro, having that exact driver name, too. Maybe something got overwritten there?

... Sbie does not modify the contents of the clipboard. If the data type is unknown to Sbie, then you will lose all or part of the data in the clipboard. I will probably add an error msg when this occurs, so we can identify the type of data and determine how to support it. So no, the forward slash ...

Re: 4.17 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.17.8)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit - Sandboxie 4.17.6 Beta I am having trouble with copy/paste hyperlinks in Gmail using both Firefox (latest official release) and Internet Explorer. The result of the hyperlink paste is plain text. I have no problem copy/paste hyperlinks in Yahoo Mail. I rolled back to ...
