If so, does it require special settings?

If I disable it for chrome, no problems.

I realized I keep getting the same error over and over:
SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service: *GUIPROXY_00000001 - chrome.exe [FF000000]

nevertheless, it does seem to be basically working, because it is sandboxing my downloads, and showing the green border.

my security config:
windows defender
windows firewall
HitmanPro.Alert
SecureAPlus

among my chrome extensions is trafficlight from bitdefender

I installed sandboxie, and tried to run chrome in it.
I was bombarded by a seemingly endless series of error messages and pop-ups, both from sandboxie and from chrome.
what went wrong??
