Sticky Password (again!) & AVG IS and Firefox [SOLVED]
AVG (ouside SB) is stopping Sticking Password working sandboxed with Firefox. If I disable AVG and then start FF & SP sandboxed, all is well, even if I reenable AVG after. With AVG enabled first, SP thinks that its FF extension is not loaded. This problem started in the last day or so, and was not r...

Using Sandboxie to test new programs
I now often, but not always, have problems installing programs into Sandboxie; which is my preferred way of checking what a new program does (background downloads etc etc), getting error messages such as SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service: *GUIPROXY_00000001 - msiexec.exe [C000006...

Re: Print to PDF from Firefox
Switch security.sandbox.content.level from 3 to 2 I changed this some time ago after advice from Bard, and prompltly forgot all about it; and why. When I just checked the setting was back to 3, which I now realise was because I created a new prefs.js a few days ago to clean out old extension settin...

Print to PDF from Firefox
If I print to pdf (Foxit or PDF24) from Firefox (v57b8) I get blank pages, but if I do the same from Chrome (latest release version) all prints ok. Same sandbox, same web pages, same session. Both browsers are 64 bit versions. I would like to print to pdf from Firefox as it is my primary browser. An...

Try the v57 beta? But be prepared to have to find replacements for add-ons due to the new regime if it works and you keep it.

Re: Sticky Password - more help required
Thanks Barb It's still ok (fingers crossed), and perhaps my change worked but that it took a restart or some such. Has been another beta update too.

Sticky Password - more help required
This could be either due to a Firefox 57 beta change or as the SP program/add-in has updated (more likely the latter I suspect), but I find myself in the ironic situation that SP only works in a sandboxed Firefox if SP is loaded outside of Sandboxie . Uninstalling and reiinstalling the add-in genera...

Firefox 57 beta seems ok; and previous AVG work-around is holding up.

Re: Web browsers (only) not working
Try Edit/Add rather than Add?
Personally, I put "ClosedFilePath=*avg*snxhk*.dll" in the config manually under Global Settings (Configure/Edit Configuration) but it depends what you want.
Good luck.

Re: Sticky Password/Firefox problems (again)
By trial and error I found that if I disabled
OpenFilePath=spuiamanager.exe,D:\Documents\OneDrive\Sync\default.spdb
SP works in a drop-rights sandbox again.
Hope this helps someone else.

Sticky Password/Firefox problems (again) [SOLVED]
Sticky Password (8.0.12.127) no longer works with Firefox in a (drop-rights) sandbox even though the template is enabled and I continue to have the following additional lines in my ini file OpenFilePath=spuiamanager.exe,D:\Documents\OneDrive\Sync\default.spdb OpenFilePath=stpass.exe,D:\Documents\One...

Re: AVG Internet Security v17.6.3028 - URGENT HELP needed
Things are now back to normal with Firefox load times. Actually, it feels snappier but that could be because of the previous long delays, but it is loading faster than Chrome again. I messed around with sandboxie.ini: cleaned it up; moved a few things around; and corrected the odd openpath error; an...

Re: AVG Internet Security v17.6.3028 - URGENT HELP needed
If I can't get this resolved pretty quickly, I'm going to have to look at a replacement for Sandboxie
Any recommendations, eg ReHIPS?

Re: Firefox 55.0.3 wont run in sandbox
Jimmy888, can you please report here if Firefox loads as normal after the fix - assuming it works. For me the initial first page load time went from reasonably quick to 45seconds. I've gone back to v16.151.8013 and am hoping turning off auto-updates stops the otherwise forced v17 update. PITA as I'l...
