Status of support for symbolic links created by mklink
I saw in an earlier thread that these are a known problem and indeed in a cmd shell in the sandbox I cannot create links with mklink. The reason I want to create a symbolic link is that I want to replace a large directory under C:\Program Files with a custom modified version so it will be used by th...

Re: Internet Resictions not working - FF is let through
Seriously? Nothing? Is it some kind of mystery that baffles scientists why FF is let through without being listed?

Internet Resictions not working - FF is let through
Under Sandbox Settings >> Restrictions >> Internet Access, I have one program listed. That program can access the internet, and ping.exe can't, so it appears to be working.
Except, if I launch FF in the sandbox, it's given internet access, even though it's not on the list!

Re: Add capability to feed chosen date to all apps in sandbo
I'd rather not give the specifics, but it's game software. (Please no 20 questions. :-)) I wasn't aware of the restriction in offline mode when I made the purchase, but I doubt they'd give me a refund. Ideally, detecting Sandboxie from inside the sandbox would be impossible, but from the fact that y...

Re: Add capability to feed chosen date to all apps in sandbo
I look at sandboxie as security software, it helps keep my system safe/clean. I fail to see how a function such as this would aid in that. In fact, I can't think of a single instance where I would want to change the date for sandboxed programs, I vote no... Feel free to correct me with an example o...

Add capability to feed chosen date to all apps in sandbox
Sandboxie is great for being lighter weight than Virtualbox and VMWare, and those simply won't work when DX10 or DX11 are required. However, unlike virtual machine software, there doesn't appear to be any way with Sandboxie to set the date to one of the pc owner's choice for all apps. There's an pro...

DCOM Server has failed. Windows will now log you off.
I got a "DCOM Server has failed. Windows will now log you off" error recently that I believe is related to Sandboxie usage. Then the damn PC restarted as it warned. I'm not so much concerned about the error as I am in how to stop the nonconsensual restart. I already have unchecked "Automatic Restart...

Which component of Sandboxie handles Windows kernel calls?
What component of Sandboxie handles/blocks/redirects Windows kernel calls made by apps run inside the sandbox? Is that SbieSvc.exe?
