How can I keep about:config changes in Firefox from being deleted when I close the sandbox please?
For example I like to set browser.xul.error_pages.enabled to false but when I close the sandbox and have the contents automatically be deleted the setting is true when I restart Firefox.
Thank you.

Quick Recovery from Folder and ALL its Sub-Folders?
It is possible to have a quick recovery folder D:\Documents\* or D:\Documents\*.* or D:\Documents\% so that all sub-folders of D:\Documents\ are included in quick recovery?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Sandbox Windows Media Player 32 & 64 Not Deleting Conten
Ok, many thanks, I only selected wmplayer.exe and it catches it at both locations and deletes it fine afterwards. Perhaps including the forced folders was being too cautious.
Thanks heaps for your help Bo and Guest!

Cannot run CubicExplorer Portable in sandbox
I am trying to run CubicExplorer 0.95.1 Portable (3.4MB) in a sandbox but it does not work. The sandbox settings I have chosen for CubicExplorer are as follows: ======================================== [DefaultBox] ConfigLevel=7 Template=BlockPorts Template=LingerPrograms Template=Chrome_Phishing_Di...

Re: Sandbox Windows Media Player 32 & 64 Not Deleting Conten
Is that because wmplayer.exe is the main file that launches and it triggers all the other wmp processes to launch as well and subsequently is caught by Sandboxie?
Will setup_wm.exe or wmpconfig.exe not be run out of the sandbox if I do not select those as well?

Re: Sandbox Windows Media Player 32 & 64 Not Deleting Conten
C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player has 17 processes and C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player has 23 processes, hence I thought force the folders, no?

Sandbox Windows Media Player 32 & 64 Not Deleting Contents
When making a sandbox for WMP with forced folders C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player and C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player having Sandboxie automatically delete the contents of the sandbox does not work. It gets stuck in a loop, exploring the sandbox new _delete_* files are being create...

Re: Default Sandbox Configuration Settings
Thank you for your reply. In the meanwhile I reverted back to an earlier image and found this in the config settings. Removed the Template and M$ username part, but apart from that I think this is the DefaultBox as it comes when first installing Sandboxie. ===========================================...

Default Sandbox Configuration Settings
Today I deleted the default sandbox that comes with Sandboxie on first install. How do I get the settings for that sandbox back please? Is there a "reset settings to factory default" option? Is there perhaps a text file with the default sandbox settings that I could copy into the settings file? Than...

Run Folder Sandboxed
Got a question about what exactly happens when I run a folder sandboxed. http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?FilesAndFoldersView The Run Sandboxed command opens the file or folder under the supervision of Sandboxie -> Executable program files will be invoked directly . Does this mean that any .exe in...

Thanks for the detailed information, yes I do get the difference between sandbox and normal install. Thank you. What you mention last is what I wanted to know about. When I am happy with the install in the sandbox I was looking for an option to simply allow it to be written to the drive, without ins...

Install Software via Sandbox and leave installed if OK?
OK, I am slowly getting the hang of Sandboxie. When I install software, let's say to C:\Program Files\Name of Software\ and I am done with the install, how do I check if the software runs they way I like it and if it does leave it installed in the real C:\Program Files\Name of Software\ including al...
