Re: NoScript 10.x Under Firefox 57.x

When running Firefox "Quantum" sandboxed, it appear that changes made to permissions in the new NoScript do not get permanently saved. (At least they do not remain after closing and re-opening Firefox.) My old NoScript permissions from before the upgrade still seem to be there, however, and I did n...

Re: Firefox 57 with Sandboxie in Windows 10 doesn't use pinned taskbar icon

The only instance were I get another Firefox icon in the taskbar is when I run it like in the picture. If I click the pinned icon, it doesn't create another icon in the taskbar.

Re: Sandboxie immediately closes

Hi xRemix, you should be able to run most programs that you ran sandboxed in W7 in W10. I am using same programs in both systems and running them sandboxed without issue. Important: What are the programs you are having issue running andboxed in W10? Be aware, Universal apps and Edge are not compatib...

Re: SANDBOXIE DETECTED

It's easily to detect sandboxie while a program is running within isolation. Just an example: If malware is informed that it is running within sandboxie, it could stop to damage the computer and the user thinks that everything is clean. Once started without sandboxie and bye... You dont want to use...

Re: Sandboxie special setup

Hi Grenpara. First of all, if I dont trust a program I wouldn't install it, or run it. To protect your sensitive files and folders you can block sandboxed programs from accessing them via Sandbox settings>Resource access>File access>Blocked access, Click Add for navigating to the files and folders y...

Re: Sound Problem

Hi Nix

Try, Open about:config, change "security.sandbox.content.level" to 2 or 1 or 0.

If that don't work, try disabling Multiprocess, in about:config, change value to false: "browser.tabs.remote.autostart", make sure browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 is also set to false-

Lowering the security.sandbox.content.level does not work for me, even with the security level reduced to 1. Maybe I should reduce it to zero just to see whether that will resolve the problem, but I have my doubts.
Stardance, try that. Or, disable Multiprocess (that should do it).

Thank you for the confirmation. Looking back, I see that this is compatible with the practice that you use according to what you wrote a while back in answer to some other questions by me.
You are welcome, Cocoon. I am glad to help when I can.

Re: SBIE2101 error, on all web browsers clean install

Hi iDRED, Norton is really bad choice to use with Sandboxie. Read this recent thread (identical problem as yours). And try deugniets solution.
