Firefox must be installed un-sanboxed. Or Else...!
Yesterday I tried to install Firefox, but did not realize that doing it sandboxed would make a total mess of it. Because I still had IE6 which was set to open forced in Sandboxie, when -after downloading Firefox sandboxed with no problem- I installed it from the desktop icon, it connected to the Fir...

It turned out that diffraction was long overdue. Thanks for reminding me. My machine is a lot faster now. And I have set the begin page file size to 720 MB so it matches the max size. But because I am using the free Cloud Panda AV -just to contribute to their malware data base- (with Sandboxie I fee...

Thanks for all your explaining and advice! I have a laptop, and do only the bare basics on it: surfing, e-mailing, writing and downloading a few documents. That's about it. I have not one video stored on it, and no pictures either. If I want to see a video I do it online. I plan on starting a Blogge...

Hi Ruhe. I don't think it is my RAM, nor my HDD. When it happens, for a second I get a message that Sandboxie's memory is full, and also a message from Windows that an unknown program is doing something (the panel it is gone so fast, I have no time to read it well) for which Windows must close IE. A...

Can I increase Sandboxie's vitual memory "space"?
After going back and forth on a website for a good while, Sandboxie's virtual memory is full, and I get a message from IE that it must close down, after which it does so. This is no biggie; I just wait a few seconds till the sandbox has emptied, and go back to the website if I am still interested. B...

I would almost say "I'll be..." again. But I don't want to be damned. The problem came back again. So just to see what would happen I told OA to un-block the "Adres" program. And now everything works fine again when I want to surf un-sandboxed. Is this what they call "poltergeist activity"? :s...

I'll be.... Just before getting out the factory cd to reformat, I got the hunch to try to go online one more time un-sandboxed. No problem this time... 8) Then I went un-sandboxed to the OneCare site (using the same link as given above). No problem either; it removed 0.6 MB temporary files -...

Thank you very much, Guest10. There is no OneCare program showing on my software list, which there always was before, after I used it for the first time. Instead of spending hours to find out what it might be and how to fix it (slim chance being an amateur) maybe I should just reformat. At least I k...

When going online un-sandboxed my pc freezes
When I go online sandboxed everything seems to work normal. But when I do it un-sandboxed my Online Armor firewall gives this message ("adres" with one "s"): "A program wants to change Internet Explorer. What does it want to do? Install an add-on to Internet Explorer called Adres. Which Program inst...

Sandboxie 3.34 can still empty itself: here's how for me:
This might be known, but for me it was a nice surprice that in the latest Sandboxie version -3.34- I could get Sandboxie to terminate all programs again, by checking "Force program to run in this sandbox" both for IE and the Google toolbar I am using, and then also by checking "Stop other programs a...

No more "Cannot remove registry hive" for me now:
I used to get at least one "Sandboxie cannot remove the registry hive" message daily after closing the browser. Sometimes even more than once a day. The only way to have the hive removed for me was to reboot and then click on "Terminate all programs" or "Delete contents". That always worked. This wa...
