How to sandbox Toggl Desktop?
I use a time tracking app called Toggl https://www.toggl.com/api/v8/installer?app=td&platform=windows&channel=stable It installs in appdata, and syncs with the online data base. It doesn't install in programs folder, they say on the website this is because it would need admin privileges. Anyways, I ...

Re: downloads not sandboxed
Are you saying that I shouldn't see any downloads listed in Sbie Control/Show Window/Quick Recovery folders/ downloads? I forgot about that log, I dont use it. I thought he meant, seeing downloads immediately after opening Sandboxie control. Bo Thanks. Yes, you understood me right the first time. I

Re: downloads not sandboxed
Yeah, also I thought that the behavior described by @opera is the default behavior. But in any case, I added C:\Sandbox\USERNAME\Chrome_USERNAME\user\current\Downloads to forced folders. There is an MP4 file in there, I tried opening it in Windows Media Player, and it opened without yellow border. (...

downloads not sandboxed
I see the yellow border around Chrome. And the downloads seem to be going into the right folder C:\Sandbox\USERNAME\Chrome_USERNAME\user\current\Downloads But the downloaded files do not show in SBIE Control. And when I browse to them through regular Windows Explorer, and I open them, they are not s...

manual save in MS Word [SOLVED]
When I open a Word file in sandboxed Word, and I edit it, changes are saved to the virtualized location. But what happens when I do a manual save in Word? Does it get saved to real user space? If not, can I change the behavior so that a manual save will automatically go to real user space, without a...

Can't open downloaded Word doc
I have a sandbox in which MS Word is a forced app I can open Word docs already on my system without a problem But if I go and download a Word doc, Word fails to open it, no matter where it is: in real user space or in sandbox. If I disable forced apps, and open the doc, and save it -- so now Word wi...

Re: downloads fail in chrome v64 + Sbie 5.23.3
Okay, thanks for your help, I think I have found the culprit: SpyShelter Firewall.
Disabling it was not enough -- I needed to uninstall it, to solve the issue.

downloads fail in chrome v64 + Sbie 5.23.3 +SpyShelter Firewall [SOLVED]
Failed - Download error
This is what I see every time I try to download in Chrome
SBIE 5.23.3 64 bit
Windows 10 x64 RS3
Chrome stable 64.0.3282.140
EDIT: Interestingly, another web app in the same sandbox does not have trouble with downloads. It is specific to Chrome.

Re: Sandboxie needs an "Auto-Sandbox" feature
As an optional feature, it sounds exciting.
If I understand it right, it would turn SBIE into a default/deny solution, for all intents and purposes, by utilizing core components of SBIE that already exist. Could be a strong selling point.

Re: Intel CPU Vulnerability. Am i secure with a Sandboxed Web-Browser?
AFIK: the vulnerability effects the Kernel and is at BIOS level, so probably not. Although it is said that private/non-cloud users probably won't be targeted by bad guyys. They are now saying that it can be exploited also from web pages, and both chrome and firefox are vulnerable. So the question c...

The most flexible sandboxing solution
I have tried what is out there, and Sandboxie has proven to be the most effective sandboxing solution for me. Instead of having to fit my user habits to the software, it is flexible enough to fit me.
