In my case a sandboxed app were still be able to perform a reboot and it was not malware. A normal installer that I've ran sandboxed where I forgot the tick off the mark "reboot now" after sandboxed installation.

In sandbox window we can choose between file and program view. In program view I would have assumed to exit a process by pressing the delete key as it works in taskmanager. But it doesn't do anything. It's just a small thing but I think it would be a great benefit also because its what people expect...

Its installed in the sandbodx yes. Its a steam game. Happened after the game got updated. Before it works fine.
I remember I could solve a similar issue before by emptying the C:\Windows folder IN the sandbox but this time it didn't worked.

Is it possible to install Office into the sandbox? By running the setup.exe of the DVD in sandbox the installation always fails (but it also does with Office 2010).

The problem was that inside the sandbox folder there was a "C:\Windows" folder containing some DLL files. I've just deleted that folder only (in the sandbox) and steam started.
My guess there was a problem with old dll files in the sandbox created under Windows 7 environment.

Problem solved.

Just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 (I had uninstalled sandboxie before upgrade and installed sandboxie AFTER upgrade). Now steam won't launch sandboxed.
