So, my question is pretty simple: can regular and frequent use of Sandboxie, for things like web-browsing and using chatting programs, both on a daily basis, place unnecessary stress and wear on your hard drive?
Be well, and stay safe!

Sandboxie could not terminate programs in sandbox
Hello and good day. I'll be as straightforward as I can. I really need advice on this, fellow Sandboxie-users. I use a program for 3-D chatting called IMVU (Instant Messaging Virtual Universe). As can be imagined, it uses quite a bit of RAM when running for long periods of time. I've never had a pro...

2 Quick Questions About Browsing Sandboxed
Good day. I have several questions, and just to avoid confusion or intermixing information, I request that you answer in the order the questions are asked. Again, I only ask that to avoid intermixing information from different answers. I like to be somewhat organized. :) Question 1: I run Google Chr...

Is it okay to use Sandboxie for regular internet-browsing?
One of the primary reasons I downloaded Sandboxie was to add an extra layer of defense while surfing the internet. However, a technician I spoke with hinted that surfing the internet in a sandboxed browser isn't really the purpose of Sandboxie. My computer, so far, runs Sandboxie fine. Are there any...

I thank each of you for your answers, especially yours, UserofSandboxie. Your steps were very well-written and straightforward. Thank you, also, Guest10. My problem was solved by clearing the cache/browsing history in Google Chrome, and then re-opening it in Sandboxie. It works fine, after clearing ...

Trying to Open Google Chrome in Sandboxie?
I've heard, but do not know for sure, that Google Chrome is not ideal for being used in Sandboxie. Whenever I try to run Google Chrome sandboxed, a box pops up that states the following: SBIE2102 File is too large to copy into sandbox - data_2 [DefaultBox/6461696] SBIE2223 To increase the file size ...

Does frequent use of Sandboxie threaten your hard disk?
I just want to know if frequent or even excessive use of Sandboxie can possibly pose a threat to the condition of your hard disk? I ask this because I read that Sandboxie works by creating a partition, or reserving space, on your hard disk in order to run the programs you want to contain in a sandbo...
