Hi tzuk, Problem remained in version 4.01.06 but I see progress! Now I am able to copy anything from a sandboxed program (except for Opera) and paste it to an unsandboxed one. However, there is still some problems when: - copying anything from an unsandboxed program to a sandboxed one - copying anyt...

Same problem here. Upgrading to 4.01.05 doesn't help. The error messages are the same as JavaDeveloper posted.

Hi tzuk,

thanks for the fix but unfortunately the problem still exists even in beta .04. I tried copying/pasting in a default setting sandbox, still not working.

I can confirm this with version 3.76 (32-bit) on Windows XP. Nice catch. EDIT: after deleting the sandbox and restarting Windows, everything appears to be normal again. I suppose this means Sandboxie contained everything - remember, Sandboxie allows changes all the time, but not permanently (that i...

Sandboxed malware changes theme

Run this malware sandboxed and it can change the theme to Windows Classic...
Tested Sandboxie 3.72 (32-bit) on Windows XP and Sandboxie 4.01 (64-bit) on Windows 7.

Alive malware!! Open at your own risk.

New: Can't copy inside sandbox. Probably due to job object limits? I'm not sure I understand what you mean here. I tried copying a file outside the sandbox, pasting it in a sandboxed Windows Explorer, it works. Sorry... I mean sandboxed programs cannot copy anything. For example, start a notepad sa...

Windows Explorer crashes

I'm using Windows 7 x64. Today after system startup, I launched Opera, which is a forced program. Then Windows Explorer started to crash. After recovery, it crashed again. Same thing happened again and again, so I killed Opera with Task Manager, and everything went OK. When I ran Opera a second time...

Why isn't forced program elevation handled by Start.exe?

Normally, when a program is run as UAC admin it is handled by start.exe, and the UAC popup shows that start.exe is requesting elevation. But when a program requiring elevation is forced to run sandboxed (e.g. when an installer is set as a forced program), the elevation isn't handled by start.exe and...
