Installed Firefox latest version ( beta ) in NORMAL C: drive and
the same problem exists.

SandboxIE is OFF THE HOOK on this one.

Now on to the FireFox site and list it with them..... :oops:

Computer Power User magazine has an article titled
"Virtualization For The Reast Of Us" on page 76.
On page 77 SandboxIE is mentioned in a positive way.

I think I am going to have to go back to square One as I do not think I am creating a sandbox in the correct fashion. I have different sandboxed boxes acording to weither I use Windows explorer or look inside using the SandboxIE menu. When I try to do an association I end up with a file like C:\Sand...

I want the FireFox I have installed in it's own sandbox to kick off when I double click a xxx.htm file.

That way any HTM file i come across will be #Sandboxed#...

This also comes up when i get an E-Mail that has a link in it!

Thanks for the quick reply.

I want to associate the xxx.htm extension with FireFox I installed in it's own sandbox.

I do not want to use the FireFox I installed in regular windows.

WinXP file extension associations

How do I associate a file extension ( like xxxxx.htm ) with FireFox installed in a sandbox of it's own. I have tried to do the standard windows file association game and thus far had no luck. When I come across a file like xxxx.htm I want it to open up in my sandboxed FireFox.... P.S. Registered use...
