Re: Ever since 5.14, these 30~MB cache files are being creat

I did what you suggested and it seemed to have worked, I will need to play around with this though as I'm not saying this is the way to go or that everything will be stable.

Would like to hear from Curt thought on this.

Ever since 5.14, these 30~MB cache files are being created.

So this all started since v5.14 of SB, I run a lot of portable programs, and they should only be leaving behind a small 1KB sized .ini file, but I've noticed now that when I go to delete my Sandboxes, whats left inside them are files in the range of 16-50~MB called iconcache_16, iconcache_32, iconca...

Re: Sandboxie Broke w/ Comodo Firewall since 5.14

Hmm strange. I fixed it.

I think maybe the template did not save correctly the first time which caused this error, but after catching this fact then redoing the template, it now works.

Sandboxie Broke w/ Comodo Firewall since 5.14

With Sandboxie 5.12 everything worked great using this template. [Template_ComodoInternetSecurity] Tmpl.Title=Comodo Internet Security / Antivirus / Firewall Tmpl.Class=Security Tmp.Url=http://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/free-internet-security.php Tmpl.Scan=s Tmpl.ScanService=cmdGuard Clos...

Re: Sandboxie GUI update

Tabs make sense as it would make for less clicking to switch between pages, 1 vs. 2 that it is currently. But Ribbon? Lets not make the clicks go from 2 to 5 please.

Re: Sandboxie GUI update

Okay I just came up with another quick before supper :) Right clicking the little taskbar Sandbox icon, there should be some kind of indicator of activity and whether it's empty or has files in it for each of your Sandboxes, something like this. http://i.imgur.com/tIy8K89.png Currently you have no w...

Re: Sandboxie GUI update

How many of you currently use "Files and Folders" off of the View menu? This same tree structure is available from Windows Explorer by drilling down into the Sandbox folder. But do you like to have it available in SbieCtrl, or should we just eliminate it? I actually use this quite a bit, I like tha...

Re: Does Sandboxie work with Classic Shell (Windows 10)

High Five Curt, yeah it's pretty bad, literally does not even pick up some shortcuts I have to apps that are in my Start Menu folder, I can look at them and I can click on them manually, but search will not pick it up, they don't even show up in All apps > letter. Whatever this is a rant for another...

Does Sandboxie work with Classic Shell (Win 10)[SOLVED]

I'm wondering if the context menu appears for Sandboxie in Classic Shell. In Windows 7 you could right click a shortcut that's in the start menu and you would see something like this. http://i.imgur.com/4M3OrKf.png In Windows 10 unfortunately it looks like this. http://i.imgur.com/UeUqksL.jpg So any...

Re: A Win7 user curious about SBie developement towards Win1

The changelogs are not a 100% comprehensive list of every little change that SandBoxie goes through, I'm sure it see's tons of refactoring and other behind the scene changes to better optimize its job. Do you pirate SB or something? There is almost literally never any reason to update to the latest ...

Re: Sandboxie with Andy Android [SOLVED]

Thanks for letting me know, I couldn't wait though. So instead I went with option B. Bugged a friend who works with VM machines all day (VirtualBox, ect.) and got him to just let me do my thing on one of his PCs real quick, he then simply restored to a previous snapshot after I was finished with And...

Re: Sandboxie with Andy Android [SOLVED]

Hey Craig, sorry to necro this old thread but since you said you've used this emulator and speak highly of it, do you know if it uninstall cleanly afterwards? Weird question right, I'm in need to temporarily use an android OS and this is looking like a good bet, and Since I'm a Sandboxie user you ca...

Re: Lingering stuff in SB since 5.08

I don't want to speak to soon, but installed 5.10 and the issue seems to be gone? This problem seemed a bit random so I can't say for sure if it's gone for good, but I'll keep an eye on it. Also the patch notes for 5.10 show nothing notable on this issue, so maybe nothing was fixed.

Re: Lingering stuff in SB since 5.08

Delete the contents of your sandbox. What program seems to cause this? Give beta v5.09.1 a try. 1. I always do. 2. The program in question is File Optimizer , specifically the portable 64-bit one if that matters. As far as I can see it's reproducible 100%, just drag and drop some JPEG images onto F...

Lingering stuff in SB since 5.08

So ever since upgrading to 5.08, there has been these (see picture) sitting active in SB even when the program I used has long since been closed. Any ideas? I hate seeing those red dots showing it as active when it's not, and having to "terminate programs" each time is annoying. Just wanted to repor...
