PlainOldFavorites for Chrome browser?
Does anybody know of a Google Chrome extension that works the same way as the PlainOldFavorites extension for Firefox? If not, can anyone advise me of a way to accomplish that same functionality in Chrome using some other technique? (Reason for this post: I believe using an extension with the functi...

Sandboxie support for Slimjet browser
IMO Slimjet is a superior Chromium/Blink-engined browser alternative for people who want the benefits of the Google Chrome browser platform, but with more preference customization options and without the privacy invasion of Google. It is the creation of the respected software developer FlashPeak, an...

Re: How to run SlimJet Browser in Sandboxie?
After much research, I verified that the problem with Sandboxie and Slimjet not playing nice with each other has to do with the Chromium/Blink engine in the Slimjet browser. The current Slimjet version uses Chromium/Blink 38, and 38 has some sort of conflict with SBie. Chromium/Blink 37 does not hav...

Re: Slimjet browser and SBIE 4.14 connection problem
Bo, I know you said SBIE betas are stable, but I'm still nervous about unknown sandbox protection holes in a beta release. Should I be concerned about that? Also, if I upgrade to beta 4.15.5 and that doesn't fix the problem, how do I downgrade back to 4.14 until a approved version of 4.15 is finaliz...

Re: Slimjet browser and SBIE 4.14 connection problem
I upgraded to SBIE 4.14...no luck with getting Slimjet to connect to internet from inside SBIE. IE11 connects fine from inside SBIE 4.14. Slimjet connects fine if it's outside SBIE. Any other suggestions/next steps? Is anyone who's using the latest Google Chrome build having difficulty connecting to...

Slimjet browser and SBIE 4.14 connection problem
I just downloaded a new browser to test (http://www.slimjet.com). It's a derivative of Chrome (with Blink engine). Slimjet uses Chromium 38. Sandboxed Slimjet won't connect to internet. I'm still using SB vers.4.08 64 bit Windows, not the current vers. 4.14. 1) Can anyone tell me whether I must upgr...

Saving photos using Immediate Recovery in Win 7
I have no problem saving photos from IE11 to my Win 7 Pro 64 bit hard drive when IE is not sandboxed in SB version 4.08. However, when trying to save photos to my hard drive OUTSIDE OF the sandbox (when IE11 is sandboxed), Immediate Recovery dialog box does not automatically pop up. I'm guessing thi...

Okay, let me try to describe it another way: Many websites (sandboxie.com included) have designed a tiny image or logo to render in front of (i.e., to the left of) the website URL in the browser address field, and also in the site title bar wording. If I launch a sandboxed K-Meleon browser window an...

Site icons render outside of "#" sandbox indicator
My browser (K-Meleon v1.5.3) has a preference setting that allows or denies the display of a website icon in the browser title bar, with an additional preference setting for icon display in the URL field. When I enable this feature, the icon in the title bar displays to the left of (outside of) the ...

Guest10's solution works exactly as described and is a better solution than my original fix using Quick Recovery. His step-by-step directions are right on the money, too, so follow them if you'd like to implement a bookmark saving solution in K-Meleon or any other lesser-known browser that you might...

Well, I've figured out a partial solution myself. SB's Quick Recovery function allows for adding additional FOLDERS to the QR dialog. So, I followed the directions given in the Help files, and added my K-Meleon user FOLDER to QR. This is not the ideal solution because the FOLDER also contains other ...

SB Bookmark Recovery not working in K-Meleon browser.
I have just switched to K-Meleon as my default browser (ex-Firefox user). My K-Meleon is version 1.5.3. My Sandboxie is version 3.36.04. The Sandboxie recovery feature (Quick Recovery and Immediate Recovery) does not detect bookmarks saved to K-Meleon. I had no problem with this function when I used...
