Re: Sticky Password possible sandbox breach
And how do I block it, yet allow SP to work properly when loaded in a sandbox. Simple issue, maybe not so simple solution. It depends what you mean by 'work properly'. If you want to prevent local changes to the database while it runs inside Sandboxie but still be able to load and use the existing ...

Re: Erroneous SBIE2101 Dialog
hmm yes, I hadn't considered those entries might have been used in versions before I ever touched Sandboxie and the internal Internet Access rules were implemented. Either way I expect removing those 'extra' redundant entries will solve your issue.

Re: World of Warcraft crashes
It's been a few years since I touched WoW but even after Battle.net got added you were able to bypass the launcher with a shortcut flag and launch more than one instance, unless I am recalling wrong.
Does the error still occur if you only run the one instance sandboxed?

Re: Sanboxie system default browser in Windows registry?
This is likely due to something related to the email software check I have never understood inside SBIE. [I don't use them myself] Have you set up the box you are going to run it in (the reg file was set to DefaultBox) up for the email reader in the Sandbox Settings > Applications > Email Reader ? L...

Re: Erroneous SBIE2101 Dialog
Figured I should expand further on one point though it was implied. It finds them and thus it is denied access in the end. Due to the way the logic for internet Access Restrictions works in regards to the alert - it isn't currently designed to differentiate between a match being found via the intern...

This works perfectly! Would you kindly to do the same for Thunderbird? :) Gave it a quick drunken once over in a VM. /crossfingers Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Thunderbird.Url.mailto\shell\open\command] @="\"C:\\Program Files\\Sandboxie\\Start.exe\" /box...

Re: Erroneous SBIE2101 Dialog
Closed Paths are always used over open ones so in the case of your allowing the exe internet access that is ignored due to the explicit, manually added, Closed rules your box has. Think of this way. Rule 1 uses the internal sandboxie list of Devices and says anything not in the <InternetAccess> grou...

Re: MemProtect+SbieSvc
Here we are a few months later without a peep from either end! So, I decided to test the August builds of SBIE & MemProtect again. Saw the same exact CPU issue(s) with the SbieSvc.exe as before regarding fullscreen (and a cpl other 'rendering' scenarios) so long as the MemProtect driver is loaded ~ ...

Re: Can't load external font even with OpenPipePath
I tested with the original portal and found I could get the crosshair back by doing a few things. 1) I copied the ttf files from the Portal\hl2\resource folder to the sandboxed fonts folder at SandboxNAMEhere\drive\C\Windows\Fonts 2) [May not apply to you] I have C:\Windows set as read only for sand...

Re: Missing e-mail notification for private message
I *suspect* this may be related to my PM w cornflake over qwave and as such I figured I'd share some possibly related info. Assuming the above is correct than it involved my reply in an already existing PM which I initiated and I DO NOT have email notifications set. Related perhaps? Maybe/Maybe not?...

Re: SbieSvc Cleanup
Was hoping to edit but it has timed out. I decided on a slightly more detailed one instead just as a precaution: rmdir %1 /q /s wmic process where "commandline like '%%Sandboxie_ComProxy_%%_DefaultBox_%%'" call terminate P.S: Is there a DenialOfService attack under way or something? I keep getting a...
