If the computer abruptly powers off (not by your hand), what happens
to the contents that were inside SBIE? I restarted computer and checked the SBIE contents
and there was nothing there; so what happened to them and can someone forensically retrieve them?

I solved it by manually exiting the sandboxie app and service "SbieCtrl.exe" & "SbieSvc.exe", after that I was able to delete the whole Sandbox folder under C: manually. You need to allow SBIE to back up bookmarks
Is there any reason why you need to run Firefox outside the Sandbox? Other reason is, so I can backup my bookmarks. Are you still experiencing problems with your bookmarks? You posted multiple responses, so I am not sure if your problem is resolved or not. sanbox man, If you have the Sandbox set to delete contents automatically, then it will delete as soon as you terminate all programs.
