I use Macrium Reflect. To shutdown my system I use a desktop icon - this icon is a link to a vbs file created by Macrium.
So, before every system shutdown Macrium creates an image of C: and after this it shut down the system automatically.

Imaging is a huge time saver and often overlooked. Thanks for the info SnD.

PS - Have you ever used Macrium Reflect?

I had no problems with functionality and activation of Sandboxie after restoring an image of the system partition with Macrium Reflect.

And we still have backed up images with Drive SnapShot or Macrium Reflect and nothing bypass those.

So in conclusion its not really going to make a lot of difference when we upgrade to 64bit.

Since 7 there is no need to apps like this (Acronis, Macrium, Drive SnapShot...). There is an internal tool for this, wbadmin.
