HitmanPro Alert 3 and Sandboxie
Hi! Today in answer to a question I had asked a HitmanPro Technician (Support) replied that if I am using Alert it is no longer needed to use Sandboxie. And his advise was to remove Sandboxie in order to prevent eventual incompatibility problems. I answered that would be a big step for me after havi...

Tor Accumulating Lots of Stuff in Sandbox
Hi, This is not really a problem I think, but I'm just wondering if anyone here would shed some light on it: When surfing sandboxed with Tor, a lot of specific Tor stuff is accumulating in the sandbox, and Sandboxie asks repeatedly if one want to keep it. One can check the option to not be asked aga...

Re: Adobe Flash, The Spy in Your Computer
Thank you. I still see the page where you can disable or enable the same spy features: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html So I doubt that issue is obsolete. I saw no previously stored websites I visited. Maybe thanks to Sandboxie. I just changed...

Many folders not deleted automatically
Hi!
This has happened for years now, and I never paid much attention to it. Yet I noticed that many times the icon in the tray looks like it is empty, but when I check manually in Delete Contents there are for example over 140 folders in it that have not been deleted.
Just wondering...

Re: Skype Without a Microsoft Account
Never thought of that. So simple! And that while I had taped off my default webcam after installing Skype. This because I have a Logitech C615 webcam, which I only set on the edge of my screen and plug in when I'm going to Skype, which is not often. Anyway, of course I don't mind my contacts seeing ...

Skype Without a Microsoft Account
I have Windows 8 and setting up Skype via the apps page of Metro requires one to have or make a Microsoft Account. Even downloading/installing the default offered version directly from Skype's site does that. Unless one chooses the Desktop version I found out... so that is what I have on my laptop n...

Re: IE10 only working unsandboxed, Firefox not at all
PS: The problems with Windows 8 were far from gone it turns out. During the install and configuration of a series of some 100 Windows updates this message would appear after about an hour and a half: "Failure configuring Windows updates Reverting changes Do not turn of your computer". The updates we...

Making Windows 8 Look and Behave Like Windows 7
Anyone using my new laptop with Windows 8 would think it was running on Windows 7. I used "Startisback" for changing the Windows 8 look to the Windows 7 look and functioning. On top of the Windows 7 Start menu the Windows 8 "Metro" screen appears as an icon, just in case you are so foolish as to wan...

Re: IE10 only working unsandboxed, Firefox not at all
Thank you! :D I set it to 300 seconds. I don't remember ever having needed more time than 5 minuted -only much less- but if ever needed I know now -thanks to your tip- how to increase even that time. In the mean all the above mentioned problems were solved by using Windows 8 Refresh. It puts the OS ...

Re: IE10 only working unsandboxed, Firefox not at all
I installed 4.13 but still the same problems with IE10 and Firefox. This time during the Firefox install I made sure Sandboxie stayed in Disable Forced Programs mode by clicking on the icon and popup every 10 seconds when it reverts to sandbox mode. and the Firefox install worked without sending me ...

IE10 only working unsandboxed, Firefox not at all[SOLVED]
I have the Windows 8 blues... had to buy a new laptop, nothing but problems now. Sandboxie gives these 2 messages when opening IE10 sandboxed: "SBIE2302 (33,5)" and "SBIE2318 failed for 'user32dll'. Then a small panel appears saying: #Internet Explorer# "Internet Explorer has stopped working. A prob...

Preveous Animated Sandboxie Illustration Gone
Hi! I've been utilizing Sandboxie for 9 years now, and yesterday wanted to recommend it to someone, as I've done many times in the past to friends and on forums. But it looks like the new video illustration has completely replaced the previous one. I can't find it anymore. Although like I said I've ...
