Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.8)
Hello. I am having a conflict problem with uTorrent client version 3.4.5 build 41712 (32 bit) (the latest version I think) I am running Windows 8.1 pro, with Avast Premier antivirus, ExpressVPN, and PeerBlock 1.2. Until just now I was running the beta version 5.07.5. I noticed that 5.07.8 was out an...

IE11 and Sandboxie 5.04 (64)
I noticed another thread that reports the same problem that I am having, although that thread was using 32-bit. Basically, I try to open IE11 in sandbox, and it closes itself back down again after about a second. I recall having this problem many versions ago, but don't know how it was solved. I hav...

Re: Sandboxie doesn't load any page.
Update to last post.
I changed my default browser to Chrome, and broadly the same problem with very minor difference.
Now SandboxieRpcSs.exe and Chrome.exe are permanently loaded in the Sandboxie control panel, but still no web page shows.

Re: Sandboxie doesn't load any page.
I am now getting the same problem. I am running the beta version 4.9.4 of Sandboxie (64 bit) under Windows 8.1 Pro, with Avast antivirus with IE 11 as the default browser. I know that there are some compatibility issues with Avast, but I got around them and it was working fine up until a day or so a...

Re: Ver 4.09 beta installs but will not run
Thanks. That *sort of* solved the problem, in that I can now open a browser window in what it claims to be a sandbox. But each time I load sandboxie now get a new set of error messages: SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service: *GUIPROXY_00000001 - aswWrcIELoader32.exe [C0000061] SBIE22...

Re: Ver 4.09 beta installs but will not run
UPDATE
It seems to have nothing to do with Avast. Red herring. I thought it might only because the installation routine warns of potential compatibility issues.
I uninstalled Avast, and then reinstalled Sandboxie, but the same error messages arose.
So, problem persists. Bump?

Ver 4.09 beta installs but will not run
Hi I am using a Sony laptop/tablet duo running Windows 8.1 pro, and Avast premier 2014.9.0.2016 I use Internet Explorer as the default browser (ver 10 I think) I started by installing the latest stable release 4.08 (64 bit) and it reported that there are compatibility problems with Avast. Problem No...

Thanks all
@Guest10 I have not uninstalled Avast. I am just not making use of the sandox provided by Avast. @scottls59901 Sorry to learn of your problems with Avast. It has been trouble free for me so far. In fact I took a brief sojourn out to BitDefender which caused no end of problems, and returned to Avast ...

Hi and thank you
I did experiment with the Avast sandbox. Didn't like it, so cleaned it out and no longer use it. I posted the hijackthis log only because the problem might be caused by some clash or hog of resources in running processes, but by all means ignore that log if you have any suggestions about what I migh...

Ha Ha, thanks for the tip. Never heard of WOT before so good to get recommendations from those in the know. Had I been thinking properly, I would have taken the precaution of un-setting IE8 to run in the sandbox as a forced program before installing WOT. I don't know if that is what causes my proble...

Sandboxie 3.44, IE8, BitDefender Total Security 2010
Hi. Windows Vista 32 Home Premium, Sandboxie 3.44, Internet Explorer 8 I used to use Avast 5.0, and for a while everything seemed to be going great. Then I made the (apparent) mistake of trying out Avast's sandbox (then immediately disabled it again). I don't know if it is related but about then I s...
