Re: Stick Password issue
I've also noticed that FF is freezing now and again, and suspect that may be down to Sandboxie/SP. I may try FF50 again - can't remember now why I downgraded from that. Killing SP in the sandbox unfreezes Firefox. That's on v 50 BTW - now updated to the beta channel again. Outside a sandbox I get n...

Re: Stick Password issue
What browser and version of Sticky Pass are you using? Do you have any AV software installed? FF49.02; SP 8.09.45; AVG Internet Security 16.121.7859. And Windows build 14393.447 (stopped using Previews). SP started ok today, but it is flaky. I've also noticed that FF is freezing now and again, and ...

Stick Password issue
Not sure it is new to 5.14 but I am getting frequent crashes: SBIE2101 Object name not found: , error OpenProcess (C0000022) access=00123FFA initialized=1 SBIE2314 Canceling process stpass.exe [2632 / 7] I gave using the SP template some time ago because it is (was?) old and SP worked better without...

Re: Disable Sandboxie or just forced programs for 1 hour
OK, got it, thanks. I have always used right-click on the tray icon, and never realised the menu option was different. Don't suppose you could build the menu item function into the right-click.

Re: Disable Sandboxie or just forced programs for 1 hour
You can disable forced programs for as long as you want. You just have to use seconds as the metric. But can that be done without editing the ini file? A better 'on the fly' disable mechanism is needed IMO; best for for it to ask for how long (as eg Crashplan does) or otherwise perhaps until reboot...

Disable Sandboxie or just forced programs for 1 hour
I know about right-click and disable forced programs, I have set the timeout for less than a minute, but now and again I need to disable sandboxie for an extended period. Can make remote support nigh impossible. Is there any way to do this without editing the settings/ini file? If this is not possib...

Agree 100%! I firmly believe in a multi-layered approach as everything should be viewed as vulnerable somehow; even if nobody ever knows.Syrinx wrote:At the risk of hijacking the flow of this thread I wanted to respond to a few things...

Re: Quick-disable Sandbox
Hi Ransom, I agree this would be a nice feature. Disabling all sandboxes often feels like overkill when you only need to disable one. Not sure if it helps but for speed you can hold ctrl+shift and right click -> run sandboxed. Holding ctrl+shift tells sandboxie to run the program unsandboxed and sa...

Re: Sandbox %temp% folder - Excel and Word problems
http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=22829 Thanks for that - sorry I missed it. It's become more difficult as, perhaps not surprisingly, sandboxing the %temp% folder is causing issues, so I will have to find another solution. Drag and drop into an already sandboxed Excel works, b...

Sandbox %temp% folder - Excel and Word problems
I want any Thunderbird email attachments to open sandboxed when double-clicked, but it is not possible to specify a separate temp folder in Thunderbird to force, so I forced the Windows %temp% folder into a non-drop rights sandbox. However, while eg xlsx files happily open sandboxed directly, when o...

Re: [FEEDBACK NEEDED] MS Office C2R [2016, 365] & SBIE
I don't understand the technicalities involved, but Sandboxie must know where it is installed so this seems pretty dumb to me. And why didn't it occur to Invincea staff [rhetorical]

Re: [FEEDBACK NEEDED] MS Office C2R [2016, 365] & SBIE
Ok, one idea left: Did you change the installation path of Sandboxie? (The Template works with "C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\" only.) YES, YES, YES. I use C:\Program Files\Utils\Sandboxie I changed the entries in templates.ini to HostInjectDll=c:\Program Files\utils\Sandboxie\SboxHostDll.dll HostInje...
