Re: Runas&Run Access&ForcedFolders Bug

Interesting I'll have to delve some into this myself. I'm currently looking into symbolic registry links, and volatile registry entries.

Re: MPV player Playlist Issue

Hi Barb, and thanks for your reply. I tend to isolate most applications that may have an attack surface. It also has the added benefit of keeping my system clean. This is Windows Media Player, but the point remains valid. https://www.cvedetails.com/vulnerability-list/vendor_id-26/product_id-680/Micr...

Re: KeePass -Drag-n-drop failure with Firefox

I believe that my scheme of having KeePass outside of Firefox's sandbox is more secure than your suggestion to put KeePass inside Firefox's sandbox. So far, not one user has suggested that it is impossible for KeePass to get hacked inside Firefox's sandbox. My KeePass Auto-Type with two-channel obf...

Re: Multiple Sandboxes

WHY do we need to create other sandboxes ? I have worked for 10 years just having the default box and see no reason to have a second or more sandboxes. Browsing Gaming Testing Reduce wear and tear on SSDs etc With multiple sandboxes, how does Sandboxie control them and how does the user know what i...

MPV player Playlist Issue

Hi. A slight problem in MPV player. Personal rant : Its visual fidelity, in particular, is pleasing (portable, open source) . PROBLEM : Sandboxed Action TWO , resets the playlist rather than appending. https://mpv.io/installation/ https://mpv.io/manual/master/#keyboard-control https://mpv.io/manual/...

Re: Close SPECIFIC program inside a sandbox rather than ALL

Hi, hopefully this'll help. :)

Assumed sandbox name:
BOXpad

Code: Select all

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\SANDBOXIE\Start.exe" /box:BOXpad "notepad.exe"

Code: Select all

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\SANDBOXIE\Start.exe" /box:BOXpad /wait cmd /c & "C:\PROGRAM FILES\SANDBOXIE\Start.exe" /box:BOXpad taskkill /f /im notepad.exe

Re: What's next for SBIE?!

I remain hopeful. An announcement in the near feature clarifying matters, would be great. Meanwhile, I encourage you to
download the latest (sandboxie) version. Preparation... in case of a worst case scenario.

I also deleted from Shadow Defender's exclusion list all the unnecessary registry values and Sandboxie's installation directory.

Hi, there. I like this setup too.

You forgot to exlude:
C:\Windows\Sandboxie.ini

I hope it helps.

Re: Sandboxie Performance Issue.

Hello BoxedSunshine, Aside from seeing differences in the benchmark results, what issues are you noticing when gaming/using Sandboxie in general? In general; I love Sandboxie , keep up the good work guys! I just wish for less of a performance hit whit high-speed ramdisks. Syrinx mentioned how he no...
