One sandbox influences all others
Recently I ran into this problem that is both strange and somewhat disconcerting. It seems it is possible for one of my sandboxes to influence the behaviour of all others. A number of tests has shown the problem to be reproducible, even though I have only tested it on this system. The problem occurs...

Re: Open magnet link in existing instance of uTorrent
Try right clicking on a link and copying the URL, then opening the URL under File in uTorrent. It understands you want to use the copied adress and prefills is. You only need to click Ok. It is a click or two more than a direct link, but works and is safe. You can run uTorrent in another sandbox if ...

Re: Cannot install large software package
Allright, I ran the installation again with the Resource Monitor open and got a huge list of items. Where do I look to know what I need to do to get this thing to work? I am afraid that installing outside the sandbox is not an option in this case. Normally that tactic would work, but I cannot confir...

Re: Skype Without a Microsoft Account
Use the portable version of Skype Also, I am sure you can skip the picture taking. If all else fails, just cover the camera and take a picture.

Re: IE 11
All right, I managed to get it working. Somehow "C:\program files\Internet Explorer\Iexplore.exe" was not the right application to choose. I searched my hard drive for iexplore.exe and four results showed up. I opened every one of those and two were problematic like before, two work like desired. It...

Re: Adobe Flash Player, risk?
Nonen, I read the thread about Chrome. You can try Dragon. I don't use Chromium type browsers but I have installed in a sandbox several times Comodo Dragon and it always installed properly and ran well. I have never kept any of those installation for more than a few hours so I don't know how well D...

Re: IE 11
I have a similar problem now: I turned Forced Programs on for Internet Explorer. It starts and loads the webpage, but as soon as you click on anything, Internet Explorer stops responding. I have tried allowing all the bookmarks, streams et cetera, and using different sandbox folders; the behaviour r...

Re: Adobe Flash Player, risk?
I was wondering whether installing Flash outside the sandbox, but running it inside poses a risk. I used to install all browsers inside sandboxes, but that did not entirely work out the way I wanted.

Re: Sandboxie & Google Chrome
Yes, installing it in the regular fashion and running it inside the sandbox seems to work, just like with Chrome.

Re: Chrome trouble / Running Firefox temp folder on RAMdisk
Try to install it in Default see if that help(trial and error)... If all else fail install it in the system, and configure the FileRootPath to RAMdisk... Well, I gave up on installing Chrome inside a sandbox and did it the way you suggested. This offers a little less security in a number ...

Re: Sandboxie & Google Chrome
That is what I found out. The Ironware does install a little easier, but will not work from within the sandbox either.Der Moloch wrote:You cannot install the default version of Chrome in a sandbox because it performs several operations which are impossible in a sandbox, like creating a service for example.

Re: Sandboxie & Google Chrome
I have had terrible trouble installing Chrome to a sandbox and making it work, as in, I never got it to work. I gave up and installed Chrome as a regular program, then ran it sandboxed. This seems to work okay.
