Sandboxie and Reflective Memory Injection [SOLVED]

Here's the thing. There is a person on another forum who is postulating that Sandboxie doesn't protect a process running outside Sandboxie from reflective memory injection from a process running inside Sandboxie. He also said that Sandboxie would have to detect the reflective memory injection in ord...

Re: [REQUEST YOUR ASSISTANCE]|Ransomware & SBIE

Sandboxie is already 100% against ransomware in its default state, there are no additional restrictions necessary (internet access, start/run, etc). Of course I understand that ransomware is the threat which gathers the most media attention and, when you are selling protection, this is the way to go...

Re: Office 2013/2016|Office 365|Click2Run [Updated]

@Curt

Sorry this came over the wrong way. There was no critique intended, that was why I put "inconvenience" in quotation marks.

Re: Office 2013/2016|Office 365|Click2Run Update

I have a question regarding your corporate endpoint software. Do your users have to open Office first and then the document, too, or is this 'inconvenience' exclusive for Sandboxie?

Re: Wordview.exe (there was a problem sending the...) win8.1

@PALDK

Have tried opening Wordview sandboxed and then opening the document from within sandboxed Wordview? It will probably work then. I had the same thing with Softmaker Office. It probably has to do something with DynamicDataExchange (DDE).

Re: HitmanPro Alert 3 and Sandboxie

@Craig He is talking about HitmanPro.Alert 3 and not HitmanPro. http://www.surfright.nl/en/alert @Lode It is not beneficial to ask a company whether you should replace their product with a competitor's. You can't possibly expect Invincea employee's to tell you not to use Sandboxie, especially not in...

Re: Does sandboxie protects from process reading

@Peter2150

Sandboxed processes cannot write to the memory of processes outside the sandbox. You don't need AppGuard for that. Among sandboxed processes it should work, though.

Re: Youtube information

Depending on your ISP, they could also manipulate your internet traffic and inject it with a unique tracking ID, so you can be identified even with a dynamic ip address.

Re: Flash Player issue in Cyberfox

Hi bo, to my knowledge Protected Mode simply does not exist for 64-bit flash, it never has. The instructions reveal this as well. You can disable Protected Mode in Flash 11.3 and above by adding the line ProtectedMode=0 to the Flash "mms.cfg" file located in one of these locations: (Windows 32bit) C...

Re: Flash Player issue in Cyberfox

There is no protected mode for Flash in Cyberfox x64, Bo, because protected mode doesn't exist in x64 flash implementations.

Re: SBIE2102 message in FF 33.0.2 (Sbie v4.14)

I think this isn't a bug or an incompatibility. This is related to explorer's iconcache_48.db file size. When you try to upload a file, an explorer window opens. In that explorer window are icons. These icons are cached in that said file. Write operations to that file need the file to be copied into...
