Re: Nothing works in Sandboxie- fresh Install Win10
I do not think that your AV or Firewall cause this. But referring to your screenshot, it looks like that you have installed the VLC metro app (from Microsoft Store). Metro apps still do not work with Sandboxie. You have to download and install the classic ".exe" version of VLC: http://www.videolan.o...

Re: Nothing works in Sandboxie- fresh Install Win10
Ok, but your screenshot shows "Settings > System > Default apps" only. It is not the same as you use the additional link "Set defaults by app" on the bottom of that page. This link leads you to the following screen: https://s30.postimg.org/459z7mmfl/defaults.jpg I used this method and never had a pr...

Re: Nothing works in Sandboxie- fresh Install Win10
Did you try following method?
- Settings > System > Default apps > Set defaults by app
- Select the program (for example "VLC media player") and then click on "Set this program as default".

Re: office 2013 don't work with sandboxie 5.14
Please check the following: - Did you check under "Configure" > "Software Compatibility" if there is the needed "[+] Microsoft Office Click-to-Run (registered Sandboxie only)" entry? - Did you enable under "Sandbox Settings" > "Applications" > "Email Reader" the "Office Outlook" entry? - Did you cha...

Re: 5.15 Beta Available (latest version 5.16 RC)
The correct hashes (and also the download link for combined 5.16) are in the row of version 5.14.

Re: "Could not find the Mozzilla runtime" since 49.0.2 versi
Did you reboot Windows and clean the Sandbox manually ("Delete Contents") already? This helps very often.

Re: MS Outlook 2016 - Sandboxie guide
I assume that there is no work-around other than re-installing Sandboxie onto my C drive? I think this should be possible: - Run Notepad as Admin, open the file "Templates.ini" and search for [Template_OfficeClickToRun]. - Correct the path for "HostInjectDll=" and "HostInjectDll64=". - Save the cha...

Re: MS Outlook 2016 - Sandboxie guide
I have attempted to just sandbox Outlook.exe and it does not work. Outlook does not open Sandboxed. (I do run the paid version.) Please check the following: - Did you check under "Configure" > "Software Compatibility" if there is the needed "[+] Microsoft Office Click-to-Run (registered Sandboxie o...

Re: Restore defaultbox?
It should work if you add a new sandbox ("Create New Sandbox") with the name "DefaultBox".

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.3)
ClosedFilePath=\Device\Mup\ blocks the network with no exceptions allowed. BlockNetworkFiles blocks all network files except those you specifically open (for reading or writing). So BlockNetworkFiles is much more flexible. Great! This will make some configurations much easier. :D Thank you for your...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.3)
1) Added new Sbie setting BlockNetworkFiles. It is available under Sandboxie Settings -> Restrictions. When BlockNetworkFiles=y, sandboxed applications are blocked from reading network files or folders. Individual files/folders can be opened for reading/writing using the normal Resource Access sett...

(Maybe they can add a new variable for the installation path of Sandboxie. So there is no need to change the template manually.)

Re: [FEEDBACK NEEDED] MS Office C2R [2016, 365] & SBIE
Ok, one idea left: Did you change the installation path of Sandboxie? (The Template works with "C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\" only.)
