Re: Firefox 57 Crashes Immediately When Run inside Sandboxie

Hi, just to say I have been experiencing crashes with firefox, the lowering of security.sandbox.content to level 2 seems to have fixed the problem. It is very reassuring that solutions are found and problems are being fixed quickly, including the recent windows 7 update problem. To some people ( mys...

Re: HPeprint

Another option is to use Google Cloud Print. It doesn't need your laptop to talk to your printer directly. I use it often. It works with "cloud" enabled printers and regular, "dumb" printers connected to your laptop: https://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/ Tried that today and google cloud worked ...

But be cautious, that opens a possible security hole.
Thanks for the speedy reply. I don't want any holes. So i will leave it alone. Cheers

Re: Firefox problem

I would like to add a final comment, I was just installing/trying out several ad blockers. With about six tabs open I had another freeze. The thing was, this was unsandboxed. I rarely browse unsandboxed. Either when updating firefox or installing an add on. So whatever is causing my problem it has a...

Re: Firefox problem

Dave, you can get rid of that plugin totally. I did. Go to about:config and change preference "media.gmp-gmpopenh264.provider.enabled" to False. The plugin will go away completely from your Plugin window. Bo Thanks Bo, I just got round to that. A quick update, my freezes seem to have ceased . I rem...

Re: Firefox problem

Maybe consider using Bluhell Firewall as adblocker for Firefox (much lighter in use but no whitelisting). ) Thanks I may look into that at a later date. One thing I have just noticed, an add on openh264 video codec. Apparently this came bundled with Firefox 33 about October 2014. This would tie in ...

Re: Firefox problem

Hi dave22, sounds to me like an issue with something like a web guard, URL filter, something like that. If your AV ha one of those, test disabling it to see if there is a difference. An addon can also cause the issue. But smells like the web guard or AV toolbar or addon messing things up with SBIE ...

Re: Firefox problem

Hi, migrate to the latest beta available in the first place http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=19837 Afterwards delete contents of your sandbox. Thanks Mr X. I will upgrade to the latest beta, I doubt it will make a difference unless invincea were aware of the problem. I believ...

Firefox problem

Hello, first off, I would like to say I do not know if Sandboxie is in anyway responsible for my problem. Basically from time to time for no apparent reason, my sandboxed firefox freezes up. It always happens when i have several tabs open. For about 15 seconds I cannot click on a different tab, ever...

Trusteer Rapport installs on all major browsers (firefox, chrome and internet explorer ) What I do is simply use a non sandboxed browser when using T.R.
Perhaps a lesser known browser like opera might work. You could use opera sandboxed without TR installing
