IE Won't Print In The Sandbox

Hi! Wow! Been a long time since I posted here! Anyway, a friend of mine belongs to a church and they have a couple of computers there. The people that use it know nothing about internet security. I have had to remove malware several times, so I installed sandboxie. It worked fine until as of late. F...

You mean, something like this: http://sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=18076#18076 Cause afaik, it doesn't disable the VMs or Sandboxies protection, it can only detect that it is running in a VM or Sandboxie, thats all... LOL... I wrote Tzuk about that and he suggested I post it for discussion. ...

Malware Anti-debugger capabilities against Sandboxie

Tom, at Temerc Internet Countermeasures posted on his site a link to a security blog. This blog states that there is new malware that can debug and detect many VM's including Sandboxie. Although, it seems to suggest that this may be only for the purpose of not delivering the payload to detected VM's...

Although I didn't have a lot of time to check it out, it seems that upgrade to version 3 did the trick. I just had time to check it out on one download link, but Firefox seems to performing normally! I was very tired last night, so even though I looked, I didn't notice that there was a ver. 3 of San...

Sanboxie Issue With Firefox ver. 2.0.0.5 When Downloading

Hello Tzuk! This is John. Remember me? Sorry I haven't been around, but my new job has kept me busy. Hope you and your family have been doing well. I have an issue. Ever since I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, I have an issue when I download a file. Everything goes ok when I click a downlo...

Very well said! :D And they say programmers don't have a sense of humor!

Not a big thing...

Hey tzuk,

This is not a big deal, but when the "Welcome Message" window is displayed, it cannot be closed by clicking the red "X" in the corner. Your only option is to click the "Learn More" box on the first one and then the "OK" on the second.

Neither one can be closed by the "X".

There is an unpatched security issue with bookmarklets in FireFox. The issue comes from FireFox should not, but does bookmark data:
http://nvd.nist.gov/nvd.cfm?cvename=CVE-2007-1084

Does this apply here? Would this be a security risk until it is patched?

PC Pitstop Optimize Software Hangs

When running PC Pitstop's Optimize software in the sandbox, it hangs using 100% CPU when scanning "Registry For Invalid CLSID's". This is just the trial version that can't change anything. From what I understand, it simply scans and reads the reg. Shouldn't it work in Sandboxie? Here is the link to ...

Well for the past couple of days I have powered down and rebooted a bunch of times (including overnight).

I cannot seem to reproduce the data loss issue that Owen has.

I have been using Firefox to try this, but I am going to now experiment with IE 7.

No offence but this is irrelevant. I dont have any auto delete enabled and I also dont clear the content of the SB. With the previuse version (2.64) I never hed such problems. The beta version is for some reason causing this strange problem. Owen No offense taken Owen. :) I did not see that part of...

I have the same issue. My settings are set at the default ones. I first noticed this when I would check "SiteAdvisor" (www.siteadvisor.com). When McAfee bought them, they started putting a nagging web page trying to get you to upgrade to the paid version before you can get info on the site you were ...
