Re: Ustream video player blocked.
UPDATE: Just updated to Sandboxie version 5.14 Ustream Live streaming is not limited to odd numbered boxes only. It is randomly working in various boxes when it wants to. I could not get a stream to play today in the Default box, but it would play in boxes #4 and #5 out of the 5 boxes I have created...

Re: Ustream video player blocked.
WAIT, I found the sticky post in this forum category about using an odd numbered sandbox. I have five sandboxes including the default. The fifth sandbox created works for ustream.
Wow how odd.
I l'll continue to use it this way until hopefully you find a fix.
Thanks.

Ustream video player blocked.
For some reason, I cannot get live streams from ustream. I can get it using Firefox (current version 49.0.1) un-sandboxed, but cannot in the box. I don't see any restrictions set in the settings either, so I have no clue why this is happening. Does not matter if any add-ons are disabled or not. The ...

Re: Request for activation key lands me an idiotic response.
Sorry I intended on updating this yesterday.
We got the key sent to use and my customer is happy. All is well again.
Makes sense now about the auto respond.
We're good.
Thanks.

Request for activation key lands me an idiotic response.
I have been recommending Sandboxie to my customers now for several years and quite a few have purchased your product. I have recently had one person whom I convinced to use Sandboxie since Feb. 2013, who's computer crashed recently. We wrote Support from the email originally used, requesting help wi...

Re: upgrade to version 4.12 problem
@ bo.elam
Automatic upgrade gets stuck on “downloading VCredist” in Vista 32 bit.
Using the 32 bit version of version 4.12 worked.
Thanks for the fix bo.

Solved
I finally uninstalled Firefox with REVO and hunted for any left over trace in the registry, then tried out the Default Sandbox again. It still opened Firefox but vs 18 this time. I did a search for Mozilla inside C: and found what looked like another complete install inside C:\Users\ StandardAccount...

make sure that the folder: C:\Sandbox\(user)\DefaultBox does NOT exist, after using DefaultBox > Delete Contents OK done. So I created a new sandbox and named it NEW. Left everything default. The NEW sandbox did the same thing the Default box is doing. Reverting back to Firefox 17. Should I uninsta...

Guest 10, Yes I have several times. Both through Sandboxie and with Ccleaner. Its really weird, I haven't had this problem before. I assume its a Firefox problem, but it seems like there might be some sort of Cache file Sandboxie has hidden that might be holding on to some old files? Update with Por...

Sandboxie wont update new version of Firefox
I have updated Firefox to version 18.0 but Sandboxie's default browser box wont recognize the update. It continues to load the previous version of Firefox 17.01. I have other sandboxes created for browsing and they work just fine. Its just the default box that wont recognize the updated Firefox in m...

Ccleaner stopped cleaning Sandboxie
I am having problems with Sandboxie since my girlfriends son used it to surf the net with. Apparently something malicious pop up in MS Essentials during browsing so he hit the delete button and cleared the history thinking it would fix the problem. Now, I cannot get ccleaner to clear out Sandboxie l...

Not pen drive, a usb connected hard drive. I will get the paid version then. As far as auto-run is concerned, I am using Panda's USB Vaccine (free) to prevent auto-running any drives that are connected, but I don't feel that's enough on the security end. I will read up on setting the drive as a Forc...
