Re: Double-clicking on spooler list adds printer to settings

For that case you have to add an additional rule:

Code: Select all

OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,%SystemDrive%\Windows\Temp\*.tmp

Re: Norton 360 - Unable to launch web browsers

...Also, as I noted, disabling Norton didn't help. I don't think the problem is Norton related but rather Windows updates related... Did you try uninstalling Norton ( without reinstalling it again)? Because: I figured out Norton was the problem because I uninstalled it and Sandboxie worked... And t...

I tried completely re-installing Sandboxie with default settings.
As far as I know re-installing didn't delete the contents of the Sandboxes. Did you reboot and clean the Sandbox manually ("Delete Contents") already?

Re: Double-clicking on spooler list adds printer to settings

I'm glad I was able to help. :D It could happen again if you try to print from another sandboxed application. Then you can simply add an additional rule with the ".exe" shown in the SBIE1319 error message, e.g. for Internet Explorer: OpenFilePath=iexplore.exe,%SystemDrive%\ProgramData\EPSON\* Or you...

Re: Double-clicking on spooler list adds printer to settings

I would make it simple and would try following two lines:

Code: Select all

OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,%SystemDrive%\ProgramData\EPSON\*
OpenFilePath=E_TARNRUE.EXE,%SystemDrive%\ProgramData\EPSON\*

Re: Firefox 56.0 sound not working when sandboxed

Maybe the bug is related to: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/56.0.1/releasenotes/ ? "Unresolved: Users running Firefox for Windows over a Remote Desktop Connection (RDP) may find that audio playback is disabled due to increased security restrictions. Learn how to mitigate this issue until it i...

Strange! :? Did you run Outlook in the sandbox named "Outlook"? Do Word and Excel work now?

Re: outlook 2013 something went wrong [SOLVED]

If you have changed the installation path of Sandboxie, the default template "OfficeClickToRun" won't work. I'm not sure, but I think that just copying a template from Templates.ini to Sandboxie.ini doesn't work also. (Usually you have to rename templates and change their class to "Local".) So, you ...

Templates.ini modifications - Expandable variables

Please see https://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5418 Thanks for your fast reply. But that very old post doesn't help. The template [Template_OfficeClickToRun] doesn't exist in 2009. It doesn't make much sense to me that the installer allows changing the path, if then the Template...

I think henryg refers to: https://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=23015&p=122309#p122303 https://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=22168&p=123620#p123627 The installer overwrites the Templates.ini file and therefore the corrected paths get overwritten too.
