Re: Installing Browsers Directly Into SBIE [Updated 6/06]
Thanks for such quick feedback. Hopefully it can be fixed, although it seems like over the years, it's getting harder and harder for web browsers to be installed directly inside the sandbox.

Re: Installing Browsers Directly Into SBIE [Updated 6/06]
Same issue with Windows 10 64-bit. I suspect Chrome versions from 55 and above are no longer able to be run directly installed within the sandbox?

Re: Installing Browsers Directly Into SBIE [Updated 6/06]
Can someone else confirm this issue please?:
Chrome 55 stable (32-bit or 64-bit) isn't able to open internet pages when directly installed into a sandbox. OS = Windows 7 64-bit. Completely fresh install of Windows 7. Sandboxie 5.14. Same issue with Sandboxie 5.15.6.

Re: 5.14 still can't copy files out of a sandbox
Remember I could do it in 5.12 though. This is your original post here: http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=23103 After updating to 5.12 I noticed I can no longer ctrl-c a file from a sandbox then ctrl-v on my real desktop or anywhere else, am I missing something here? Or there ...

Re: Clipboard issues with sandboxed Firefox and Virtualbox
Hi, was this ever looked into? Seems to still be an issue on 5.14.Craig@Invincea wrote:Try the beta 5.13.2.

Re: 5.14 still can't copy files out of a sandbox
It was fixed in 5.13 Beta and appears fixed in 5.14 also. I also noticed the issue in 5.12, but I can't reproduce it in 5.14. What version of Windows are you using? 32-bit or 64-bit? Real machine or VM? EDIT: a different issue, but of the same variety, still exists in 5.14: http://forums.sandboxie....

Re: lnk in a forced folder doesn't get Sandboxed
I think this "issue" gets posted several times a year on these forums. Perhaps a sticky of a relevant post would be helpful? I came across this "issue" more than 6 years ago and posted on these forums about it too, and I probably wasn't the first one then! Here's a recent discussion related to it: h...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.7)
All seems fine with Win 7 64-bit and latest Chrome Stable 32-bit (53.0.2785.116) installed directly into the sandbox.

Re: How to download and view it within SBIE?
Q1: The 'folder' you are referring to is sitting within a SBIE environment or outside SBIE environment at this point? Q2: How do I go about 'never opening a REAL explorer window' method please. How to set it up, implement? Thanks in advance. Unfortunately I can't really clarify any further, as I've...

Re: How to download and view it within SBIE?
This is what I was after. Which explorer do you use before then? None. The folder containing newly introduced files (eg. downloaded files) is in principle never opened with a REAL explorer window. Selected files that I want to keep are taken out of the sandbox via cut/paste commands (may be as simp...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.5)
Looks like Sandboxie 5.13.3 and later would solve this issue: http://www.zdnet.com/article/windows-attack-can-steal-your-username-password-and-other-logins/ How about a release to protect the larger group of non-beta Sandboxie users? Sandboxie 5.13.5 doesn't appear to block that MS issue. As Craig ...

Re: How to download and view it within SBIE?
But personally, I try to minimize the number of third party software installations on my system. Why? Simple answer is that more software means more chance for exploitation. I had a little laugh when I read that I used batch commands to move files! That was a bit inconvenient, and I stopped doing t...

Re: Possible Security flaw [SOLVED] [unfounded]
and yes I did have GOG galaxy on my host machine installed previously but I uninstalled it, apparently it didn't uninstall the service, this is what I mean with clutter/trash, and why I prefer things in SBIE since there I can just completely wipe it. I can relate to this. I've always felt that mini...
