Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.04 RC)

Looks like chrome is doing the same thing too. I'm running chrome out of a portable install ( http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/google_chrome_portable ) since I had some initial difficulties installing it into a sandbox. Note, on a lighter/white background the inactive window has a black border ...

DirectX is a driver, you can't install drives inside a SB. .Net should also not be installed in a SB. This is an update to a Windows component and should be installed on your host. Re: Understanding Resource Access

I hate to bump, but does anyone have any working examples of how you can configure "Windows Access" to allow communication between windows ? Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.02 RC)

After updating to Windows 10 last month, my Sandboxie wouldn't work, so I uninstalled and went with beta 5.01.7. Everything worked fine. After the September 8 Windows update, I found I could not open Windows Explorer (File Explorer). I got a pop up. Screenshot Explorer.exe.png Also got this same er...

Sandboxie & Windows 10, minor border annoyance

I know it's not terribly high on the list of priorities but I found a cosmetic bug when it comes to running things sandboxed, and a workaround, in windows 10. To replicate, run a firefox installer within a freshly created sandbox on windows 10 (I'm using updates up until the 6th, not including the p...

Understanding Resource Access

Fairly new to sandboxie, but so far I'm loving it. I might perhaps have the problem of creating too many sandboxes but it's keeping my system nice and segmented and easy to clean up if I don't like how something is functioning. My first real hurdle was trying to figure out OBS ( https://obsproject.c...
