BoxNameTitle=- vs BoxNameTitle=n [SOLVED]
The BoxNameTitle setting is a yes/no setting, but disabling it in the SB UI writes BoxNameTitle=- to the INI file. BoxNameTitle=n doesn't seem to work. Shouldn't the this be "n" instead of "-" ? Thanks!

Re: CopyLimitKb in [GlobalSettings]
Thanks! I just tested as you suggested and I can confirm that adding CopyLimitKb to the global section DOES work, even though the setting is not reflected in the UI. I have no idea why the the setting IS reflected in the UI when encapsulating it in a template. This looks like it might be a bug.

CopyLimitKb in [GlobalSettings] [SOLVED]
If I specify CopyLimitKb=100000 in [GlobalSettings] and don't specify it in the sandbox code of each sandbox, when I open the sandbox settings in Sandboxie Control > Sandbox Settings > File Migration it still shows the default 49152 kB. So in this case which of these two values does Sandboxie actual...

ConfigLevel issues & questions
Three small issues regarding ConfigLevel . 1) I think there's a mistake in the help page for ConfigLevel , where it says: When ConfigLevel is missing, not a number, or a number below 2, Sandboxie Control will add the following configuration to the sandbox: ConfigLevel=2 AutoRecover=yes AutoRecoverIg...

Re: Small website suggestion
Another small thing, the settings ConfigLevel and NotifyDirectDiskAccess are not listed in the navigation bar.

Small website suggestion
This is a very straightforward suggestion for the website's Sandboxie Ini section . In the right-hand-side navigation pane with the links to the various INI file settings, it would be handy if deprecated settings could be indicated with an asterisk or a small icon next to them: *BlockDrivers *BlockF...

Re: Sandboxie and Google Chrome
Sorry about the sloppy English of my previous post, it was a bit late when I wrote it. What I forgot to mention is that I put my Sandboxie directory on a drive other than the system drive, in other words, my sandboxes are NOT in my c:\sandboxie\ which is the default dir. This can be done by includin...

Re: Sylenth1 64-bit consistently crashing
After re-creating my sandboxes using Sandboxie 5.10 on Windows 10 (all my previous testing was on Windows 7), it seems some things are working better on 5.10. Unfortunately Sylenth1 still doesn't work. BUT I discovered something today, I downloaded the latest version of Sylenth1 and it displays an e...

Re: Sandboxie and Google Chrome
I deliberately install and run Chrome and also Firefox each in their own separate sandbox, so that when I re-install Windows all my settings are there, all I need to do is install SB and copy sandboxie.ini file installation directory. I do this for many other applications which saves me the painful ...

Re: Sylenth1 64-bit consistently crashing
Unfortunately, VMs introduce latency which is undesirable for real audio editing, low latency drivers ASIO drivers don't work, apps must run inside a window which means you need to install every other app you normally use inside the VM e.g. WinRAR, etc. SB has protected me against malware many times...

Re: Sylenth1 64-bit consistently crashing
Hi guys, I'm still on version 3.76, any chance this issue might be looked into? I think this could just be a setting in the INI file but I can't figure it out. If you could just take a quick look just to check if there's a way to allow Sylenth through to function without issue. I would be so pleased...

Re: Sylenth1 64-bit consistently crashing
I'll be keeping an eye on this thread. You guys are losing money by marketing Sandboxie just as a security tool. It is not just that. Sandboxing also means being able to compartmentalize installations which makes for a modular workflow. I believe that's the future. Yes, Sandboxie provides security, ...

Re: Sylenth1 64-bit consistently crashing
So what are the chances of it working some time in the future? FL Studio is absolutely central to my work but so is Sandboxie, so I've got this huge dilemma.
Still I don't understand why you say that v3.76 doesn't support 64-bit apps when I am running them just fine using that very version.

Re: Sylenth1 64-bit consistently crashing
One of us is mistaken, I am running 64-bit programs on v3.76 natively without issues. What Sandboxie was intended for is immaterial. I use Sandboxie as a "portable application maker", and also as a tool for testing software without leaving junk files and registry junk behind, I am surely not the onl...
