OP 37 runs great until I try to force it in Sandboxie. I'm not knowledgeable enough to figure it out. {Yes, in forcing I DID navigate to the Programs folder, not the Programs X86 folder}

Re: Can't execute a file on my desktop...IN THE SANDBOX
All done, Craig. Back on Good Old Seven. I'll go back on '40 CW' before I'll run Windows [bleep] Ten again. My heart goes out to whoever has to buy a new rig with that POS installed in it.

Re: Can't execute a file on my desktop...IN THE SANDBOX
I can't stand it any longer! I'm going to try the Revert to Windows 7 program, Craig. {probably have to totally reformat after than...never know what '10' may have left behind} I'll keep an eye on this to see if anybody posts a cure. I'm beginning to see a definite correlation between Windows 10 and...

Re: Can't execute a file on my desktop...IN THE SANDBOX
Hi Craig.... I catch Security Now / Windows Weekly / Enterprise Tech every week. Download and run at my leisure, using Windows Media Player. I guess. When I choose to Run Sandboxed I think that's what runs the podcast. I've learned a lot from Leo's Gang...except now I'm left behind with all the Thur...

Can't execute a file on my desktop...IN THE SANDBOX
Against everything I can sense, but at the urging of my 'Little Girl', I am presently trying Windows 10. Let me be clear; I am not against WIN10 philosophically, it just offers me 'things' I know I'll never use, while NOT doing a handfull of things I WANT to use! To wit: An MP4 I downloaded from TWI...

Sincere Thanks to THIS Forum...
I'm just an old Ham Radio operator, dragged into 'computering'....primarily to be Mail Agent for one of my Kids working in Brasil at that time. I have a deep, long, electronic background, that has become virtually useless in this Era of Everything Being Ones and Zeros. As such I have literally haunt...

Re: Last OPERA update...'update'
Totally agree......
Yeah, I was going to go back to '34'...to exactly match my Bride's computer, but '35' runs super and that takes care of THAT!
Happy Days........

Last OPERA update...'update'
OPERA came out with version '35'. If YOU happen to be one of the 'almost 1%' that favors this little Gem of a Browser, AND wouldn't go on the Internet without Sandboxie, be advised: Auto-Update of OPERA will not work, through the sandbox. At least it did not, for me. Which means if you are running v...

Re: 'OLD' Microsoft Office 2003 and Sandboxie
By Golly, Jasper !
I just did it; tested sending back and forth between two of my accounts. Fully functional, even drag to delete, then DO it.
Got no 'dll' notifications. I run Drop Rights all the time.
THANKS again, Old Boy. Appreciate you help..........

Re: 'OLD' Microsoft Office 2003 and Sandboxie
Hey, Thanks, Jasper..... I have always known about that Local App Data folder, but had no clue what was going on with it. My version is WIN7 Home Premium and I have only the one folder for Outlook in Roaming; must relate to the Home / Pro difference. [Come to think of it, my L/T is Pro. I may instal...

Re: 'OLD' Microsoft Office 2003 and Sandboxie
Naaa... Still have a glitch. Oh, well.... I'm only guessing at what needs to be Directly Accessed anyway. Myself and my Son in Law are the only ones I know that use POP3 E-Mail accounts and 'Clients'. Seems the only logical way to handle multiple addresses and accounts ALL AT THE SAME TIME. But I gu...

Re: 'OLD' Microsoft Office 2003 and Sandboxie
I had permitted Direct Access to the App Data, Outlook folder file, "Outlook.NK2"...something called a .pst file. It holds a snapshot of the existing E-Mail folders. This morning I received a business E-Mail, which came roaring through the Sandbox; just fine. However, without disabling the forced Ou...

Re: 'OLD' Microsoft Office 2003 and Sandboxie
Hi there, Bo.... No I don't have Word forced, but when I force Outlook and create an E-Mail 'something' in the forced Outlook drags Word along. I get a little window telling me that #WORD is being started up as my editor. I have three E-Mail accounts : Formal/Business....Friends and Family...General...
