I'm running Firefox 44 (64-bit version) and I'm not experiencing any crash at all. I'm not sure on how your setup looks like but I'm running from an account in administrator group and no problem at all here (with UAC enabled but not running firefox as admin of course).

I'd like to report about the sound problem that exist since 5.01.3 till .5 tested on Windows 7 x64.
