Re: Running games/emulators in SB, controller doesn't work?
Hey, I feel like an idiot here, everything now works... Maybe a reboot fixed it? Anyway when I made this post I ran ePSXe 2.0.5 with my controller plugged in and the inputs would not pick up, when running the emulator outside of sandbox it worked, that's where I stopped trying to troubleshoot, made ...

Running games/emulators in SB, controller doesn't work? [SOLVED]
When running a game or emulator that normally just picks up the plugged in controller (XInput, etc.), if it's in a Sandbox, the controller won't work. How can I get the controller to work?

Re: Cannot run paint.net installer inside Sandboxie... Error.
Any update to this yet? Have you found the cause, can we expect a fix in the next version, etc.

Re: new icons / interface
No I'm not going to use that clunky window, that's the problem, and I'm living in 2018, not making shortcuts either just to dirty up my taskbar only to open windows explorer a little faster, also then I'm going to have a shortcut problem with 5 sandboxes. Re: new icons / interface
Not that I like the OPs suggestion, but no, sorry, SB as is, is a terrible and uninformative user interface and needs an overhaul, I don't care if they keep the iconic logo, that's not the problem, and I hope they stay away from the windows 10 "Metro" crap, but when I look at SB, it should tell me w...

Re: Please delete my account
You can do this yourself.
Change your password to something big and random, don't write it down, now log out, and never come back.

Re: Cannot run paint.net installer inside Sandboxie... Error.
Not sure about copy/paste but everything as far as I know worked well on 4.0.19 in sandboxie, I've never had it crash on me and I used the thing for hours at a time, probably a hundred hours or so just on that version.

What kind of performance slowdown can we expect? Meltdown & Specter
So with the recent Meltdown and Specter fixes out and some are still coming with BIOS, what kind of performance hits has SB taken, obviously these will be hard to tell by just noticing with our brain, but have the devs done any internal benchmarks of sorts and would happen to share those results? I'...

Re: Cannot run paint.net installer inside Sandboxie... Error.
Yeah as you can tell, I'm on Windows 10 so .NET should not be the issue, the installer and Paint.NET it self run fine outside of Sandboxie, and previous versions also ran fine inside Sandboxie, just not this version.

Re: Cannot run paint.net installer inside Sandboxie... Error.
To add to this, it wont even run Paint.NET, gives the same error, Paint.NET.4.0.19 worked just fine.

Cannot run paint.net installer inside Sandboxie... Error.
https://www.getpaint.net/download.html#download paint.net.4.0.20.install.exe When I try to run this inside of Sandboxie I get this message https://i.imgur.com/Lw2x8ui.png I'm clearly on Window 10, fully updated as of today, and use latest Sandboxie version (stable). https://i.imgur.com/7QOHERI.png a...

Okay, so basically just use whatever is easier and "cleaner" to setup.

Re: Forced Folders vs. Forced Programs, Pros & Cons?
Regarding using one over the other due to performance concerns, I received this response from the devs: The Sandboxie driver decides (kernel based) to sandbox a process based on a number of factors: is the parent process sandboxed, is the process forced, is the path to the process forced ... and so...

Forced Folders vs. Forced Programs, Pros & Cons?
Are there any reasons to do one vs. the other? Performance perhaps? Lets say I have 30 programs I want to sandbox, all under the same folder like "C\Programs", each program is in their own sub folder there, with many sub folders of their own, ect., basically hundreds of folders and thousands of file...

Re: Sizer v3.34 crashes Sandboxie
First off, thanks for looking into this. I'm on Windows-x64 if that matter but I don't think it does because Sizer works flawless on anything that is not Sandboxed (ie. anything with a yellow box around it). I'm also aware of version 4.0, but it's premature with gutted features and not as good, 4.0'...
