Sandboxie Support

Windows now open for me using Firefox 27.0.1. Sandboxie 4.09.1 fixed the problem. Thanks.

Fx 27.0.1 did not fix the problem for me. I will use Fx 27.0 unsandboxed normally and use Fx 26.0 sandboxed for any dicey sites.

I've also tried disabling the Avast shields. The problem still persists. (The only shield Avast was using was the File shield.) Edit: I just noticed that a second copy of SbieSvc.exe was started when I started Firefox 27.0 in Sandboxie. From Process Explorer: "D:\Program Files\Sandboxie\SbieSvc.exe"...

For everyone having the problem, add this line to your INI file: OpenIpcPath=*FirefoxStartupMutex*. Then delete the contents of the sandbox and restart Sandboxie. I added this line in the GlobalSettings section of the .ini file, deleted the sandbox, and restarted Sandboxie 4.08. The problem persist...

I had the same problem. I made the changes with the GUI that Guest10 suggested and then restarted Firefox 14.0.1 and my email program, Forte Agent. Problem fixed. Thanks.

Did you go into the Sandbox Settings, go to Applications - Web Browser - Firefox and check the option to allow access to bookmarks and history database?
