Windows now open for me using Firefox 27.0.1. Sandboxie 4.09.1 fixed the problem. Thanks.

Re: Firefox 27 will not open in Sandboxie
I am using Avast. I have added the following three lines in the [GlobalSettings] section of sandboxie.ini OpenIpcPath=*FirefoxStartupMutex* ClosedFilePath=%systemroot%\apppatch ClosedFilePath=D:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast This does not correct the problem of the Firefox 27.0.1 window not dis...

Re: Firefox 27 will not open in Sandboxie
Fx 27.0.1 did not fix the problem for me. I will use Fx 27.0 unsandboxed normally and use Fx 26.0 sandboxed for any dicey sites.

I've also tried disabling the Avast shields. The problem still persists. (The only shield Avast was using was the File shield.) Edit: I just noticed that a second copy of SbieSvc.exe was started when I started Firefox 27.0 in Sandboxie. From Process Explorer: "D:\Program Files\Sandboxie\SbieSvc.exe"...

For everyone having the problem, add this line to your INI file: OpenIpcPath=*FirefoxStartupMutex*. Then delete the contents of the sandbox and restart Sandboxie. I added this line in the GlobalSettings section of the .ini file, deleted the sandbox, and restarted Sandboxie 4.08. The problem persist...

Re: ??
Did you go into the Sandbox Settings, go to Applications - Web Browser - Firefox and check the option to allow access to bookmarks and history database? That should let you save your history outside the sandbox. :) I don't know where you're talking about when you say "Applications - Web Browser". P...

Review of Buster Sandbox Analyzer 1.23
Review of Buster Sandbox Analyzer 1.23 Summary: I used Buster Sandbox Analyzer (BSA) to inspect the behavior of some suspected malware. BSA has good documentation and it can be used effectively with its default settings. BSA helped me to positively identify the behavior of a new potentially maliciou...

Re: Sandboxie not found! by BSA 1.23
I figured it was something like that. I'm glad to help out. It's the least I can do to show my appreciation for BSA.Buster wrote:Thanks for the information!
I thought that key was always present when Sandboxie is installed.
Next time other user reports the same problem I know the solution.

Re: Sandboxie not found! by BSA 1.23
The key "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell\sandbox\command" is present, but has no name/value pairs in it. That´s the problem. That key should contain a value. I suggest you reinstall Sandboxie to fix the problem. Thanks. It turns out a reinstall wasn't necessary. All I had to do was check Add right-click ...

Sandboxie not found! by BSA 1.23
Whenever I click the Start Analysis button, "Sandboxie not found!" is displayed in the BSA status bar. The Start Analysis button stays highlighted. I'm expecting the highlight to change to the Stop Analysis button, but that doesn't happen . I'm unable to use this new version of BSA. Sandboxie is cur...
