Re: Google Chrome typing in addres bar is laggy/slow
Internal Intel HD here as well but without an external card. I am one step closer to narrowing down the root cause to the graphics card and how Firefox utilizes it inside the Sandbox. Currently I am running a test with Direct2D & DirectWrite disabled, this has eliminated the lagging so far. user_pre...

Re: Google Chrome typing in addres bar is laggy/slow[SOLVED]
Concerning Firefox, sounds exactly like what my experience has been since my first report: http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... 11&t=20567
The OpenWinClass exception isn't needed any longer but the lags are still there.

Re: Anti-Virus programs SBIE Beta v5 & Win 10 (working/not)
I can confirm this incompatibility. Neither disabling all components of the COMODO firewall, closing the GUI or adding rules to the HIPS that give all Sandboxie process total access do any change. Uninstalling is the only option, even before a reboot, Sandboxie functions are revived and programs lau...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.7)
More freezing and crashing with beta 7. Flash caused Firefox to freeze, while trying to terminate the process Windows crashed. Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.6)
So far, not much luck with Win10. Sandboxie is basically inoperable. Trying to launch Firefox, none of the Sandboxie services launch with it: SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service RpcSs (C00000E5) SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service DcomLaunch (-4) Other programs either don't launch at all, or...

Microsoft Silverlight - no fullscreen video
I've read about some window functions that are not completely implemented in Sandboxie under Windows 8.1, is that the reason why fullscreen playback of Silverlight videos isn't possible? Flashplayer, HTML5 videos are just fine.
I am wondering if there is any compatibility setting for this?

Re: General Lagginess of Firefox
I can verify that here also. Firefox lags without the setting. I use openwinclass=# though, it works just as well and is a little more secure. Curious that you are able to fix it with OpenWinClass=# . While testing, I did try that setting as well and it has no measurable effect on my system. Maybe ...

Re: General Lagginess of Firefox
Making sure faulty installs and/or configurations are not the cause were the first things on my list to cross out. Instead of getting any further, I have made out a workaround, albeit a dirty one: OpenWinClass=* . Excluding all and any windows that are used by Firefox didn't fix the problem, only us...

General Lagginess of Firefox
Hi there folks. I've been using Sandboxie 3.76 for a variety of reasons up until now, mainly because any version that succeeded it caused a noticeable slowdown in performance. The best description of how using Firefox would be like using it through a remote desktop connection that is imposing a dela...

Logitech Setpoint - horizontal scrolling
Firefox used in combination with Logitech Setpoint won't allow horizontal scrolling unless the same rule already in place for Synaptics touchpads is added: NoRenameWinClass=MozillaWindowClass I can't test it but adding the "Internet Explorer_Server" class to the Synaptics template might be needed as...

You will only see content in the Sandbox due to modifications made by the programs you are running sandboxed. No modifications, no files. I can only speculate without more information but your "app" might be hijacking IE by modifying registry values. That data you will find sandboxed in the RegHive ...
