Possible to run Sandboxie in "registry and file protection only" mode?
My use case for Sandboxie isn't to protect myself from malware but rather to make it so I can easily install programs, transfer the whole installation package (including configuration) to another computer, and remove the application when done without it leaving traces all over my system. I create a ...

Re: Acronis + Explorer / xplorer2_lite freeze after right-click on items[SOLVED]
@CBruce: As a workaround, you may want to consider disabling the context menu of the application and instead using another means of triggering a backup. When I have had problems with explorer context menus in the past (unrelated to Sandboxie) this often was a reasonable work around. Of course, if yo...

Help links no longer work.
The app contains links when you click "Help" on an error that look like https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?SBIE2101. However, none of these links work. I also have found that most links on the forum to other topics result in 404 errors, I believe because the forum updated or something so all of the...

Re: xplorer2_lite freezes after right-click on any item
I'm getting these problems after installing Windows 10 Pro Insider Slow Ring today, but with the regular explorer (not xplorer2). Symptoms are identical to yours. Do you happen to be running Windows 10 Insider?

Windows Insider Slow explorer right click crashes Sandboxie.
I just installed Windows Pro Insider Slow ring (version 1703, build 16278.1000), Windows Subsystem for Linux, and Ubuntu (from Store). Now if I open an explorer window in any sandbox and right-click on any file or folder the explorer window completely locks up. I suspect the issue is with the slow r...

Re: Opening links in sandboxed application doesn't work.
It turns out my problem was that my default browser was set to Edge in Windows. Switching it to Internet Explorer 11 resolved the problem. I'm going to submit a new question on how to have a browser installed inside a sandbox be the default browser.

Opening links in sandboxed application doesn't work. [SOLVED]
I have a computer that I installed an OS on and then installed Sandboxie. I then created a new sandbox and install Slack and Chrome in it. Chrome required me to launch with `--no-sandbox` but otherwise it is working. However, when I click a link in Slack, nothing happens. My expectation is that the ...
