Yes, I don't have Steam, Origin and the likes guarded, because they won't work with AppGuard, as they constantly try to do things which are prohibited by AppGuard. In AppGuard's and Sandboxie's defense: the publishers of these programs are clearly defying Microsofts guidelines as to to how programs ...

I am sorry that I can't help you with this one. I have settled down to opening the browser out of the sandbox, if I want to play BF4. For these scenarios I am always relieved that I have still AppGuard running as well.

@pipppero2007 Do you have an alternative media player installed, which opens the .mp4 files? From my experience this is related to how Windows 8 handles default programs for file types. I've had the same problem with picture files recently, because I have changed the standard program for these file ...

Now it's getting ridiculous... NSA using Invincea to buy Sandboxie to spy on its users. The NSA already knows everything about and they did so long before Invincea acquired Sandboxie.

IrfanView is NOT the problem! I didn't say that IrfanView was the problem, but rather there must have been an issue with the way I set it up to be my standard viewer. Windows 8 is actually quite iffy when changing the standard handler for anything. Nothing help and tzuk have sold the program, rever...

If you are using an Office version that runs through click-to-run (integratedoffice.exe), it won't work with Sandboxie. Not Office 2010 in general; only Office 2010 that is installed using Click-to-Run. From what I read on the Microsoft Office 2010 site, once you have a product key, you can use it t...

Safe Money and Sandboxie cannot be made compatible because Safe Money works to isolate the browser from the rest of the system, including supervision of Sandboxie. The idea behind Safe Money is to secure banking in the browser on a malware infested system, so that malware running in the background c...

Hi, I was able to solve the problem now. It must have been related to IrfanView being my standard image viewer. For testing purposes I have made Windows' own image viewer the standard and now it's working well. Jason, maybe your problem with .zip files is related to this as well. Addendum: I have ch...

Sandboxed Firefox "Save Image as" crash

Windows 8.1 Pro x64 - Sandboxie 4.07.05 x64 Hi, when I click on the "Save Image as" dialogue in a sandboxed Firefox, the window becomes unresponsive and I have to terminate the program. It works outside the sandbox. Further observations: Sometimes it works. I open Firefox outside the sandbox, click ...

I have this problem as well and I am sure that graphic image files are (maybe among others) are related to this issue. I just have to put a .jpg into a folder and it will be shown empty viewed from a sandboxed process.

There is the need to add a template which allows for mbae.dll to inject into sandboxed processes to make it work.
