Re: Firefox Pegging CPU Usage On Max
I've had a similar situation to this recur again, and I thought I'd share the solution with you guys, in case anyone else was having the same problem. I got it down to the point where I'd bring up a certain bugzilla report page and a Yahoo finance chart, and within about 30 secs, I'd see my CPU usag...

Re: Double-clicking on spooler list adds printer to settings
No, I'm not trying to print multiple files. One single print of one single page was requiring ~8-10 double-clicks. > If the message appears several times, just click on once of its instances, then close it and re-try printing. Shouldn't that be as good as trying to print, doing it e.g. 10 times, and...

Re: Double-clicking on spooler list adds printer to settings
I just tried to kick off a print using the above rules, and got tons of: SBIE1319 Blocked spooler print to file, [7136] firefox.exe, \Device\HarddiskVolume3\ProgramData\EPSON\PRINTER\EPAUDF01.AUD SBIE1320 To allow print spooler to write outside the sandbox for this process, please double-click on th...

Double-clicking on spooler list adds printer to settings
I had a difficult time trying to get my Epson printer to work over the network. I wound up with: OpenFilePath=E_TARNRUE.EXE,\\Device\HarddiskVolume3\ProgramData\EPSON\PRINTER\EPAUDF01.AUB OpenFilePath=E_TARNRUE.EXE,\\Device\HarddiskVolume3\ProgramData\EPSON\PRINTER\EPAUDF01.AUD OpenFilePath=E_TARNRU...

Re: Firefox Pegging CPU Usage On Max
Ok. It turns out I had the exact same problem in SHADE Sandbox. I'm starting to suspect that this is a FF problem; although I am loathe to run it without a sandbox. I'm starting to think this is a FF issue in general. I'll try a more extensive test some time in the not too distant future. I've got o...

Re: Firefox Pegging CPU Usage On Max
I've also verified that the problems persist when running both the normally installable and the PortableApps versions of Firefox. Anyway, here's a crash report from when Adobe Flash was enabled, which blames the crash on Flash. I've attached it as a zipped text file: Firefox with Flash, SBIE Crash.z...

Re: Firefox Pegging CPU Usage On Max
I forgot to mention that this is FF portable. You never know what may be related to the prob. I have some stuff to be taking care of for about two days. I'll try these tests after that. A crash log may take some doing, since it is comparatively rare. I can tell you that sometimes Flash is blamed, bu...

Firefox Pegging CPU Usage On Max [SOLVED]
I have a four core system (i5-2500k). I have used Sandboxie for years. Perhaps about the time of Firefox 45, I noticed that after much running, it would start to slow down. Portions of any webpage would go black. This might happen after a couple of days, or very quickly. Often, it would crash. Often...

Can't start browsers in XP with MB Anti-Malware installed
Hi all. I have been using Sandboxie as my go-to method of protection for some years. The biggest problem I ever had with it wasn't something infecting my computer from a sandbox, but apparently creating another login account on my computer, somehow causing it to start logging me in as another user. ...
