Tested in two VMs, Windows 7 x64 & Windows 10 x64 CU Fully Updated.
Installed Java 8 x64 in the box.
Installed Angry IP Scanner 3.5.1 in the box.
It installed and ran for me on both. Sorry, just not seeing the issue at this end.

Re: SBIE2224 when using different drive for an application.
I'd recommend checking the NTFS permissions for the sandbox folder and change them if needed for the one added to d:\

Re: SBIE1406 and SBIE 1412 after Windows 10 Creators Update
hrm, yeah, offhand I don't see anything that might even cause Sandboxie to try and expand %temp% though there are plenty of other variables in there they don't seem to be involved in the error as reported. Sorry, as of now trying a new user account with the same sandboxie.ini may be the only to tell...

.NET 4.7 and AppLocker
I've spent a fair amount of time tracing this issue over the last few days. I first noticed it (in a VM) well over a month ago but I hadn't buckled down to actually solve it until recently. My initial assumptions were that it was related to some recent changes in NTLite and so i spent some time bugg...

Re: Adobe Acrobat Read DC Crashes in Sandboxie
hmm, If you added it via the GUI at Sandboxie Settings > Resource Access > File Access > Blocked Access you'd only want to add
as the other part is the rule as it should exist in the Sandboxie.ini after being added (or adding it to the ini manually)
Code: Select all
*klsihk*.dll

Re: Web browsers (only) not working
Glad you found something that helped but sadly I STILL cannot produce any problems with this setting enabled (it is by default, apparently)

Re: Installing Java inside the sandbox
It might be easier to reproduce the case if this software had a name or even a url fro which to grab it. I'm not keen on java or the related programs so hunting for a match isn't exactly on my to-do list....

Re: SBIE1406 and SBIE 1412 after Windows 10 Creators Update
Short of being able to reproduce this I think the best test would actually be to see if this persists for a new user. It's possible something got corrupted during the upgrade process but if a new use profile doesn't show the same results then we'd know for sure it isn't SBIE specific . As for not se...

Re: firefox uses the app folder from host
If files, in this case those would be related to the firefox profile(s) are not found 'inside' the Sandbox, it will normally be able to read them from the host (outside). I'd try adding a couple WriteFilePath='s (note: this will mean only the files in the sandbox can be accessed/updated so if you de...

Re: xplorer2_lite freezes after right-click on any item
I downloaded and tested 3.4.0.4 x86/x64 (both) Ultimate trial (I must be blind as I didn't see a free/lite option) on Windows 10 x64 CU (Fully updated) and had no issues with installing or running it inside SBIE and the right click context menu did NOT freeze it here. I have not yet tested with VIPR...

Re: Installing Java inside the sandbox
Gave it a quick test on a Win 7 x64 VM and I was able to complete the 'install' process within SBIE but right clicking on a .jar and selecting Run Sandboxed from the host (which didn't have the java environment variables added) resulted in an open with dialog. I did not see the error as initially re...

Re: Can not install software inside sandboxie - file missing mfc90.dll
I assume this is the program you were trying to install? SmartScore X2 Pro It gave me no errors or issues when installing in SBIE 5.21.2 on a Windows 7 x64 VM but I suppose you could try installing the related VC++ 2008 SP1 x86 package outside the sandbox first, then see if the installer works in th...

Re: SBIE2205 Service not implemented ImpersonateNamedPipe
I actually looked into this a tad more and it turns out SBIE does handle some things with ImpersonateNamedPipe but with you getting that error it seems (and I am just guessing here) that it was either something that wasn't passed as expected, the hook wasn't designed to handle or was flagged as an i...

Re: Difficulties with installing programs in sandboxie
I really wouldn't recommend removing Windows Updates unless as a temporary last resort. If you can identify a specific KB others may be able to reproduce and a true fix be made if required. Looking at the screenshot I see your shortcut was made as: "C:\Sandbox\JAVOR\DefaultBox\drive\C\Program Files ...
