I recently did a clean reinstallation of Windows 8.1 for UEFI purposes and today I've installed 4.07.02 and it seems to be working now. I don't know if it was the reinstallation or the new beta, but the problem is gone.

Printing on Windows 8.1 + Sandboxie is currently an issue. You should experience it with other sandboxed apps as well.

Read-Only Access to something only means it cannot be recreated in the sandbox. It does not mean that something can write or modify outside the sandbox just because it is not listed under read-only access.
