4.07.05 Integrity Levels
Hi, I am using Sandboxie 4.07.05 x64 on Windows 8.1 Pro x64. As with the latest beta I have observed that processes, which used to run at untrusted integrity level all the time, now are sometimes shown to run at medium and sometimes at untrusted integrity level, as observed in process explorer. When...

E-Mails from Google crash sandboxed mail programs
Greetings, I think I have to report a rather curious problem. If I try to open an E-Mail from Google, like notifications about changes in my account, clicking on that E-Mail crashes the sandboxed mail program. At first I thought this was an issue with emClient only, but now I've found out that it al...

The one from the Chrome Webstore, but it says binary component true (NaCl) and it runs through nacl64.exe. It's 3.0.14. I've also learned that there is another Chrome extenstion on the LastPass Website (3.0.15). On the website the version without the binary component actually installs with the binar...

I concur and have reported the problem here as well. As I've written before, this has probably something to do with the latest iteration of LastPass, because it now seems to run through the nacl64.exe interface. The reason why you have to force terminate the resident programs in the sandbox is becau...

I think I have run into a new problem regarding the latest Last Pass version in chrome. The plugin now seems to be run through nacl64.exe. I verified this by deactivating the Last Pass extension. nacl64.exe only starts together with Chrome, if the Last Pass extension is active. The new problem is ru...

The benefit of sandboxing Google Chrome is indeed something that you can argue about. Sandboxing other programs, which handle stuff that comes through the internet (E-Mail, Documents, Multimedia), is still very beneficial. When you encounter exploits which target the kernel, no software on Windows ...

Windows 8.1 Pro x64 | Beta 4.07.01 | Skydrive
Hi. Can anyone confirm that as of Windows 8.1 you can no longer access the Skydrive folder from within a sandboxed application? Running forced programs from the Skydrive folder works, I just can't save or explore it any longer. Before the 8.1 upgrade I have used the skydrive desktop app, now it is i...

webcachev01.dat
I have observerd that some applications always copy a file called webcachev01.dat located under C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache into the sandbox upon running. I have read that this file has something to do with Internet Explorer's browsing history but HTML5 applications ca...
