Process Modifying Memory

I visited a website earlier and my firewall went mad, asking me whether to allow some randomly named process, that must have been forced to download from the site, to modify the memory of a program I had running outside of the sandbox. It was just a little program I had done in AutoHotKey so I don't...

wermgr.exe modifying sandboxiewuau.exe

Sandboxie 3.60 x64 / Windows 7

My firewall says wermgr.exe is attempting to modify sandboxiewuau.exe's memory. I don't know whether to allow this or not - can anyone suggest a course of action? I have blocked it this time.

Whenever it pops up I make the decision to recover or not so I address the dialog straight away. Being a shortcut junkie I still sometimes find myself pressing space in a bid to acc...

Thanks for getting back to me. I was about to do as you suggested but thought I'd install the program again into a different sandbox just for the sake of it. It seems to be consistently working now without any modifications.

Confused

Me again but logged in this time. I can't seem to get Fraps to work since that last time. I thought perhaps I'd run the program directly by mistake last time so I tried again but it automatically loaded sandboxed. No help there then. Specifically, it's the video capture that doesn't seem to work. Pr...

Only TB is going to be opening the emails and you're only going to be opening them with the sandboxed version of TB so it's all good. If you want to make permanent changes to TB, do so unsandboxed, just don't go around opening emails if you're not sandboxed. If you're going to be opening emails as w...

Many applications, many sandboxes

Hi. I was using the free version of Sandboxie for a couple of months before buying it. Straight away I was installing separate applications into their own sandboxes, partly, just because I could. I've carried on in this fashion and have 19 sandboxes now. Everything is fine and dandy, but I was just ...
