Re: Blocked keyboard keys in Continuum (100% reproducible)
shameless bump. I know this is a complicated issue. Does anyone have any ideas? Gonna file a bug report with Synergy as well, but was hoping the support didn't fall through after tzuk left

Re: PDF-XChange Viewer crashes when using the search functio
Confirmed. Win 8.1, latest patches 8-15-24, SandboxieInstall64-413-2, and latest PDF XChange Portable. Crashes when searching PDF for text that doesn't exist. Just out of idle curiosity -- since PDFXchange is completely portable, why are you guys running it inside SBIE? For security reasons? (PDF ex...

Re: Blocked keyboard keys in Continuum (100% reproducible)
UPDATE: I don't think this really is going to help, but when I manually start/stop Synergy while continuum is running, Sandboxie's resource log says this : The following are registry settings that pertain to DHCP, TCP/IP etc. Clsid ------------------------------- File/Key ---------------------------...

Synergy interfering with Sandboxie!
Hi all, Edit: After 18 hours of troubleshooting, I finally figured out what the problem is! Running Windows 8.1 64bit, all patches updated as of 8-13-14. Sandboxie 4.13.1 Synergy 1.5 (or earlier) is interfering with keystrokes in sandboxie. If Synergy is running (and on) and an app is running (sandb...

Ronen, It is an understatement how much your app has changed my life. I know it is very cliche to say, but as someone who tests software on a daily basis, your app has been a godsend. I am so happy for you to finally get the compensation you deserve. With all that said, I know it's way too early to ...

tzuk, I'm also getting this on startup. I thought it was my SSD drive. I wonder if I should uninstall SBIE 3.72 and see if it reoccurs. UPDATE OK, I have somewhat confirmed SBIE was responsible for my Windows Explorer random crashes on startup. I thought it was the new SSD I installed! When I uninst...

There is no "except", you can't tell Sandboxie "treat all folders this way, except that folder." But you can be explicit and describe all your folders and how to treat each one. Hi tzuk, Is there no way to have a universal " * " entry for allowing files, then creating a read only access or somethin...

I was planning to talk you out of allowing writes anywhere, since writes to folders like Windows or Program Files can be a bad idea. I did run into a snag with something I was testing, so my idea didn't work out. http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=13157 If allowing writes outside of the...

Re: VERY basic question about sandboxie/resource access
How do I allow avidemux2 access to EVERYWHERE on the disk, YET force a SINGLE DIRECTORY to be sandboxed (in this case the user directory). The reason I am asking is because I want it to have access to everywhere on the disk, EXCEPT the directory that it stores its settings, so I don't lose my setti...

VERY basic question about sandboxie/resource access
Hi all, Pretty experienced with SBIE, but can't figure out how to do one thing. Basically, I use SBIE not only for security but for registry/file sandboxing so I don't clutter up my system with garbage/renegade app files and to keep settings in one place One example is avidemux2. It stores its setti...
